Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:126:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. The opening of the sixth seal refers to the sixth condemnation of Holy Spirit to the world, namely the great physical and spiritual earthquake which causes these things.
- Darkness.
Revelation 6:12-13
6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
- Shaking.
Revelation 6:14
6:14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
- Fear.
Revelation 6:15-17
6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,
6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
6:17 "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
ad. 3.
Fear. The spiritual earthquake refers to the influence of the world with all of its activities, amenities, hatred, evil, and uncleanness which cause the fear or distress. It peaks on the fear to see Jesus who comes a second time as the King of all kings and the Heavenly Bridegroom on the glorious clouds. The fear to see Jesus means being left when He comes a second time and experiencing the doomsday or perdition together with the world forever.
Therefore, from now on we must learn to see the glory of God.
Exodus 33:18-23
33:18 And he said, "Please, show me Your glory."
33:19 Then He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion."
33:20 But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live."
33:21 And the LORD said, "Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.
33:22 "So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My handwhile I pass by.
33:23 "Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen."God shows three places to see His glory as follows.
- Standing on the rock.
Genesis 49:24
49:24 But his bow remained in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),
The rock refers to God as the Shepherd.
Standing on the rock means being firm in the true shepherding and enjoying it.
We must make the true shepherding as the most pleasant place like Nain city whose meaning is the most pleasant place.
Do not try going out of Nain. Jesus and the people were entering Nain city while a widow and the people were going out of it to go to the tomb.
Luke 7:11-16
7:11 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd.
7:12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
7:16 Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people."
We can see and feel the visitation and glory of God in the true shepherding.
On the contrary, being outside the true shepherding, one will only go to the tomb, namely sorrow, suffering, and the condemnation of God up to the everlasting perdition.
Only the people with the good conscience can be shepherded.
The true water baptism happens when one who has died to sin is buried in water with Jesus to be raised with Him and receive the new life, namely the good conscience. It refers to the honest and sincere heart that willingly suffers.
If there is the good conscience, there will be no difficulty for us to choose the true shepherding and be firm in it.
The proof of being firm in the shepherding is always dwelling in the pen or perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. We are given the drink so that our spirituality keeps fresh. We keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
We are given the food so that we strong. We do not stumble because of temptations and false teachings. We keep on following and ministering to God until the end line. We do not stumble or fall.
We are given food to grow towards the spiritual maturity. One of the signs is keeping silent and surrendering to God more.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love.
We breathe with the love of God. The love of God is eternal, so we get the eternal love.
In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God. We cannot be touched by the trinity of Satan.
To be shepherded is truly heavy for our flesh, but easy and light four our soul and marriage.
- Entering the cleft of the rock.
Exodus 33:22
33:22 "So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
2 Samuel 22:31-32
22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
22:32 "For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?
God is the rock.
He is also the true or proven Word.
Thus, the rock is the same as the true or pure Word or the Bible.
The cleft of the rock refers to the verses in the Bible.
John 3:16
3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoeverbelieves in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
The true teaching Word refers to the one whose verse explains the other verses in the Bible.
Entering the cleft of the rock means entering deeper in the true teaching Word, especially in the Bible Study Service. The deeper we enter it, the more protection we get.
Receiving the true teaching Word, we have the shield to face the fiery dart of the evil. On the contrary, hearing other teachings, one will be struck by the fiery dart of the evil.
As the conclusion, we must be shepherded to the true teaching Word or Jesus Himself so that we can see the glory of God. We are shepherded like a branch that attaches to the true Vine or a donkey which is tied to the true Vine.
The duties of a pastor are as follows.
- Feeding the congregation with the true shepherding Word.
- Lifting up the intercession prayer for the congregation.
Proverbs 28:9
28:9 One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.
Not preaching the Word for feeding the congregation, the prayer of a pastor becomes an abomination.
There must be the true teaching Word first and then a pastor may pray to God.
- Being the example for the congregation.
It refers to the example of faith for holding fast to and obeying the true teaching Word, so we can live in righteousness. It also refers to the patience or strong heart in facing the temptations as well as keeping on believing and hoping in God.
Revelation 1:20
1:20 "The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angelsof the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.
A pastor who feeds the congregation is the same as the angel in the church, so there is the protection.
A pastor who becomes the example of faith is the same as the stars, so there is the light in the congregation.
As a result, the pastor is held by the right hand of the Great Shepherd and he never stops or falls on the way, but keeps on being a pastor until the end of his life.
The duty of a sheep is eating, enjoying, hearing, and obeying the shepherding Word.
As a result, we are sanctified and changed to be the golden candlestick. Our position is in the hand of God, the Great Shepherd.
John 10:27-28
10:27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
10:28 "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
The results are as follows.
- Sooner or later we will bear sweet fruits. We have the joy, satisfaction, and sweetness of heaven, so we always give thanks and bear witness.
The more we bear witness, our life becomes sweeter. On the contrary, the more one gossips, his life becomes more bitter.
Our life is arranged tidily by God in the shepherding.
- Satan cannot snatch our life. We keep on living in righteousness and holiness, so we are used by Jesus in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
- There is the guarantee of life assurance from now on up to the eternal life.
- Being covered by the hand of God.
Exodus 33:22
33:22 "So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My handwhile I pass by.
It means living in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
Through the perseverance in doing the three main services to God in the Holy Place, our life is being sanctified intensively, so we can experience the anointing of Holy Spirit. The holier we are, we are anointed more and we become more faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
Romans 12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
The holy, faithful, and fervent servant of God is specialized to be the apple of God's eye.
Revelation 1:14
1:14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
We are protected from all disasters and condemnations of God.
We can see the glory of God from now on until the time when Jesus comes a second time that we can see Him face to face.
There are some people who become the apple of God's eye, so they can see the glory of God as follows.
- Moses had looked the glory of God from the back, so he could write the first five books of the Bible, namely Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.
- John the apostle had looked the glory of God from the front, so he could write the last five books of the Bible, namely the gospel according to John, the first, second, and third epistle of John, and Revelation.
- We see the entire glory of God up to His heart.
Psalms 136:1-4
136:1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
136:2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
136:3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:
136:4 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
Jesus alone on the cross stretches the hands of His mercy and goodness to us. He alone is able to do the great wonder in our life.
Do not hope in others, or else you get disappointed. Let us come to Him alone and He alone is able to help us.
The results are as follows.
- We experience the power of redemptionfrom sins up to the peak.
John 8:9-11
8:9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
8:10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?"
8:11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."
It will happen as long as we willingly confess our sins to God and others with honesty. After being forgiven, we do not repeat the sin.
The woman who was caught in adultery was afraid, shameful, and in suffering and perdition. Confessing the sin and being forgiven, there is the joy of heaven, the face is cheerful, and we can live in righteousness.
Psalms 37:25
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
The righteous will be blessed by God up to the descendants and become blessings for others and get eternal life.
- The power to help and exalt usfrom impossible problems.
Matthew 14:22-23,28-32
14:22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
14:23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.
14:28 And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
14:29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
14:30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
14:32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
Why do we often face the impossible problems? It happens because of the doubt to the true teaching Word and the power of God. The doubtful will not be quiet in life, but weary, heavy laden, and totally failed up to the everlasting perdition.
Peter alone came to Jesus, surrendering and crying out to Him. The Lord is able to help.
- The power to change our life, starting from being strong and of good courage.
Philippians 3:20-21
3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
We are changed to be as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time to be worthy to welcome His coming.
God blesses you.
