Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 8:128:12. Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. The blowing of the fourth trumpet is the same as the fourth judgment of the Son of God to the world and its contents that reject the sound of the trumpet now. It means rejecting the shepherding Word and purification as well as keeping on sinning up to the peak.
The blowing of the fourth trumpet is signified by the matter of a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars are darkened.
It means living in darkness.
John 11:10
11:10. "But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
If we live in the darkness, we will become a stumbling-block.
It means as follows:
- Easily stumbling and having hard and irritable heart, so one sins and leaves God.
- Being the stumbling-block, so others sin and do not want to come to God.
Mark 9:42-43,45,47
9:42. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
9:43. "If your handcauses you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched--
9:45. "And if your footcauses you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched--
9:47. "And if your eyecauses you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire--
The stumbling-block is caused by the hard heart. The hard heart causes the eyes, feet, and hands to become the stumbling block.
So,
the biggest stumbling-block comes from our own life.
- The eye that becomes stumbling-block is driven by unclean and evil heart.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- The unclean eye.
Matthew 5:28
5:28. "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- The evil eyeis driven by evil heart that is bound by the will of money, so one ignores the ministry or he serves and ministers to God only to seek for physical things.
Matthew 6:22-23
6:22. "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
6:23. "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
If our eye is unclean and evil, it will be dark. Our whole body will be full of darkness until we enter the outer darkness in the hell forever.
- The foot that becomes stumbling-block.
Psalm 139:23-24
139:23. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
139:24. And see if there is any wicked wayin me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
The wicked heart causes wicked life journey, namely straying from the true direction to the New Jerusalem.
God tests our heart and mind through the teaching word and the Holy Communion, namely perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service and the Holy Communion, so we are not wicked.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21. "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
7:22. thefts (4), covetousness (5), wickedness (6), deceit (7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy (10), pride (11), foolishness (12).
7:23. "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
The wicked heart and mind have twelve evil, unclean, and bitter desires.
If we experience double purification in the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service, the twelve evil and unclean desires will be purified and our heart and mind have twelve bread that are set in two rows, six in a row (6 6). It refers to the sixty six books in the bible. The true teaching word is ingrained in our life.
- The hand that becomes stumbling-block is driven by a bad conscience.
Hebrews 9:14
9:14. how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The bad conscience results in useless deed, namely the one that is not linked with the ministry to God.
Galatians 5:19-20
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
Matthew 12:36
12:36. "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
The useless deed results in idle words, namely lie, gossip, evil speaking, and blasphemy.
That is why we have to fight for our service and ministry to God more than all things. Our service and ministry to God will change useless deed and words to become true, holy, and good words and deed, so we please God and become blessing for others.
We really need the repeated word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to purify our life.
The eye, foot, and hand are purified, so we do neither stumble nor become stumbling-block.
Psalm 24:3-4
24:3. Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
24:4. He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
We may ascend into the hill of the Lord. Our ministry increases up to the worship to God.
The meanings of the worship are as follows:
- The worship is the process of spiritual increase, so our faith, hope, and love are increased up to perfection like Jesus.
Matthew 17:1,3
17:1. Now after six days Jesustook Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:3. And behold, Mosesand Elijahappeared to them, talking with Him.
James writes about the faith.
Peter writes about the hope or holiness.
John writes about the love.
In the Tabernacle, there is the ark of covenant that consists of the mercy seat with two cherubs and the ark.
The perfect church of God is shown by the ark that is made of acacia wood that is overlaid by gold. It refers to perfect faith, hope, and love.
The mercy seat with two cherubs consists of the following things:
- The first cherub refers to God the Father or God who is represented by Moses.
- The mercy seat with sprinklings of blood refers to the Son of God or Jesus who is represented by Himself.
- The second cherub refers to Holy Spirit God or Christ who is represented by Elijah.
Through worship, we experience the covering of Jesus as the Heavenly Bridegroom.
The covering means God's caring and protection.
Luke 17:26-27
17:26. "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
17:27. "They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
God's protection has happened in the days of Noah where the world was hit by sins up to the peak until it was destroyed by the flood.
Now, it the last days, the world is hit again by sins up to the peak, so it is punished by fire and brimstone from heaven.
God's protection is that we have to enter Noah's ark spiritually as follows:
- Water baptism.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The true water baptism is that we must be baptized like Jesus.
Matthew 3:15-16
3:15. But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
Jesus does not need to be baptized, but He is baptized to fulfill God's will.
Acts 8:36-39
8:36. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"
8:37. Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
8:38. So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.
8:39. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water baptism is that one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life, namely a good conscience.
The good conscience never stumbles. It is protected by God.
- The Tabernacle.
Genesis 6:14-16
6:14. " Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
6:15. "And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
6:16. "You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.
Exodus 25:8
25:8. "And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
Noah's ark was made by the will of God, so was the Tabernacle.
Noah's ark had three decks, so did the Tabernacle.
We have already been saved (the Court of Tabernacle) but have not been perfect yet (the Most Holy Place). That is why we are in the Holy Place now. It refers to the sheepfold or perseverance in committing three kinds of main service as follows:
- Table of showbread refers to perseverance in the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion in which we eat.
- Golden candlestick refers to perseverance in the General Service in which we drink.
- Golden altar of Incense refers to perseverance in the Prayer Service in which we breathe.
In the sheepfold, we experience God's protection with the four curtains, so we are not punished.
We are purified continuously up to perfection and we become as glorious as Him.
We are like a branch that abides in the true vine, so we bear sweet fruits sooner or later.
As a result, "My Father is the vinedresser". Jesus as the Chief Shepherd will protect and take care of us in the midst of difficulties in the world.
- The worship is the process to tear the flesh to put to death the virus of sin, so we experience the renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
Matthew 17:2
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
We are changed to become honest and have trust, so we can face the decay of sin in the last days.
John 11:31-32
11:31. Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
Mary was honest and had trust.
John 11:39-40
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40. Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
Martha was hardened in her heart. She was not honest. She hid something ('Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days').
Do not say useless words when having unfinished problem! Let us become honest and have trust.
John 11:43-44
11:43. Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"
11:44. And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."
Physical and spiritual miracles happen. Total failure becomes success and beauty. The impossible thing becomes possible. The lost thing will be found again.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are purified and changed to become as perfect as He is and enter the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:9-11
21:9. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
21:10. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
21:11. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
God blesses us.
