Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation chapter 2 and 3 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant. It means the last sanctification done by the Lord to the churches in the last day so that they are without blemish like Jesus.

We are learning the third church, namely the one in Pergamos.

Revelation 2:12-16
2:12. "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two–edged sword:
2:13 "I know your works, and where you dwell,
where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
2:14 "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
2:15 "Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
2:16 ‘Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. "

Jesus comes with the Word sharper than any two-edged sword to move the church in Pergamos from the atmosphere of the throne of Satan to the one of heaven.
Rejecting the sword of the Word means that one keeps the atmosphere of the throne of Satan. Consequently, God comes with the sword of judgment to destroy.
There are two conditions of the throne of Satan as follows.

  1. The throne of darkness.
  2. The throne of deception.

We are learning the first one.
There are two kinds of the throne of darkness as follows.

  1. Uncleanness.
It refers to the sins up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as marrying-being given in marriage such as sexuality sin and all its kinds, sexual deviation, wrong marriage and so on.

  2. Evil.
The root of evil is the love of money that causes stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means that one cannot give for the work of God and the others who are in need.
Greediness means that one robs the right of other, especially of God, namely tithes and offering.

The throne of darkness also means the hatred without any cause, being hated because of Jesus or the true teaching Word, until there is persecution or murder because of Jesus.

Mark 7:21-23

7:21. "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
7:22 "thefts
(4), covetousness(5), wickedness(6), deceit(7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy(10), pride(11), foolishness(12).
7:23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."

If the heart and mind are ruled over by the twelve evil and unclean desires, one will be the throne of Satan and do or say evil and unclean things up to the perfection as the bride of Satan or the woman of Babylon that will perish.

Revelation 2:12
2:12. "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two–edged sword:

Facing the throne of Satan, Jesus must come with the sharp two-edged sword.

Hebrews 4:12
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jesus shows Himself as the High Priest with the true teaching Word to sanctify our heart and mind from the twelve evil and unclean desires.
As a result, our heart and mind can be filled with twelve loaves that are set in two rows, six in a row. They refer to the sixty six books in the Bible. Our life becomes the throne of God (the Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion).

Such servant of God becomes His throne and has a firm faith as follows.

  1. Keeping on holding fast the true teaching Word and obeying it, regardless of any risk we have to take.
  2. Keeping righteous, regardless of any risk we have to take.
  3. Keeping on believing and crying the name of Jesus and worshiping Him.

The holy heart and mind becomes the throne of God. It is the same as a strong foundation to receive God’s blessings.

Leviticus 24:5-9
24:5. " And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.
24:6 "You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the LORD.
24:7 "And you shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
24:8 "Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
24:9 "And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the offerings of the LORD made by fire, by a perpetual statute."

There are three blessings received by the holy heart and mind or one who becomes the throne of God as follows.

  1. [verse 8] There must the new bread every Sabbath.
It means that a pastor always gets the new revelation of God’s Word or the true teaching Word to be obeyed and become the food for the congregation.

The congregation can always enjoy consuming the true teaching Word or joyfully hear it until they can understand, believe, and obey it.

As a result, [verse 9] Aaron and his sons must eat the bread as follows.

    • There is a guarantee of assurance from God to preserve our physical lifemiraculously and directly from heaven until the days when the antichrist reigns over the world for three years and six months. We are evacuated to the wilderness to get the preservation directly by God through the Word and Holy Communion.

    • There is a guarantee of assurance from God to preserve our spiritual lifeso that we experience Sabbath or quietness and peace or rest in Holy Spirit. All things become easy and light.

    • There is a guarantee of assurance from God to preserve our body, soul, and spirit until we have eternal lifein New Jerusalem.

      Exodus 26:35
26:35. "You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.

The north side refers to New Jerusalem.
      Psalm 48:3
48:3. Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

  2. The twelve loaves are set in order before the Lord.
    Leviticus 24:6
24:6. "You shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the pure gold table before the LORD.

They are set in two rows, six in a row.
The figure six refers to human. The two figures of six refer to a husband and his wife or a pastor and the congregation, or a servant of God with other servants of God.
They also refer to the sixty six books in the Bible.

Thus, the six loaves refer to the husband, wife, God’s servant, and the congregation who have been filled with the true teaching Word, so the flesh cannot be seen anymore. Only the bread or the true teaching Word can be seen.
It means fleshy men who have characteristics, conducts, and saying that are in line with the true teaching Word.

If we become the throne of God, we will become spiritual men like Jesus.
The loaves are set in order. It means that we enter the fellowship of Christ’s body, beginning from the husband and his wife, the pastor with the congregation in the shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ. We are used in the ministry for building the body of Christ.

The requirements of joining the fellowship are as follows.

    • There must be one kind of bread or the one true teaching Word according to the Bible.

    • The fellowship must be in the light.
      1 John 1:7
1:7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

It means that one confesses and forgives the sin one another, as well as ministers one another.
      The results are as follows.

      1. Dwelling together in unity, one heart, one voice, and one true teaching Word.
        Psalm 133:1-3
133:1. << A Song of Ascents. Of David. >>Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
133:2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.
133:3 It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing––Life forevermore.

        Romans 15:5-6
15:5. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like–minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
        15:6 that you may with
one mind and one mouthglorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All things become good and beautiful in His time. We are blessed up to our descendants. Moreover, we become blessings for others and get the blessing of eternal life.

      2. Being the house of prayer.
        Matthew 18:19
18:19. "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

  3. There is frankincense on the bread.
    Leviticus 24:7
24:7. "And you shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

It means that we can worship God or see His face in the gloryas follows.

    • We can see our life in our weaknesses and infirmities.
We are sanctified from throne or arrogance and pride, riches or the will of money, woman or sins up to the peak, and lie.

    • We can trust and entrust our life fully to God.
We experience the satisfaction and joy in the midst of sufferings.

      Psalm 17:15
17:15. As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfiedwhen I awake in Your likeness.

We have the life renewal from fleshy men to spiritual ones like Jesus.

      Matthew 17:2-3
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
17:3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

      Exodus 6:9-12
6:9. So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.
6:10 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6:11 "Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land."
6:12 And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, "The children of Israel have not heeded me. How then shall Pharaoh heed me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?"

Moses was hopeless and disappointed because of heavy problem or impossibility. He was hopeless in the ministry.
      1 Kings 19:3-4
19:3. And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
19:4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!"

Elijah was hopeless also because of facing false teachings and service. He was dry in the spirituality and unfaithful; even he left the service and ministry to God.
Both Moses and Elijah could be renewed through worship prayer.

      1 Samuel 30:6, 17
30:6. Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
30:17 Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

David faced problem in economy, marriage, and children; even he had to face the death. Nevertheless, he only saw God’s face and strengthened himself in the Lord. He was not hopeless. As a result, God solved all problems in time of need.

We are renewed to be as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We can welcome Him and enter the throne of God.

God blesses you.
