Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:1-10 is about Jesus’ resurrection. It refers to the light of glory or shekinah glory that shines the dark hard heart, so there is renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones as the angel or Jesus is.
Matthew 28:328:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. What must be renewed?
- The countenance that is like lighting, referring to the renewal of the five senses.
- The clothing that is as white as snow.
Daniel 7:97:9. "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; The clothing that is as white as snow means the clothing of glory of Jesus as the King of all kings or Heavenly Bridegroom who sits on His throne.
The process of the renewal of the clothing that is as white as snow is as follows.
- THE CLOTHING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS OR SALVATION.
Isaiah 1:18
1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
The sins that are like scarlet mean the sins that peak on the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse as well as sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage such as adultery, sexual deviation, and false marriage.
The white that is as white as snow means righteousness. The clothing that is as white as snow means the clothing of righteousness.
Acts 2:36-38, 40
2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptizedin the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."
The steps of receiving the clothing of righteousness are as follows.
- Listening to the Word of God until being cut to the heart.
Meaning we can believe that Jesus is the only Savior.
We can realize, regret, and confess our sins to God and other people. As a result, the blood of Jesus forgives all our sins, even the peak.
- Repenting or stopping sinning to return to God. We die to sin.
- Being baptized of water and Holy Spirit. We have life renewal of water and Spirit to result in heavenly life or life in righteousness as Jesus is righteous.
We receive the clothing of salvation and do not get the condemnation.
Proverbs 11:4
11:4. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.
All things in the world are useless but the clothing of righteousness when Jesus comes a second.
For example, David has sin that is as scarlet but it can be as white as snow.
Psalms 51:7
51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
2 Samuel 12:13
12:13 So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.
David falls in the peak of sin but his heart is cut when Nathan preaches the hard Word of God, so he can confess his sin. Afterwards, he does not sin anymore. As a result, he gets the clothing which is as white as snow and does not get the judgment.
Judas is hard-hearted, so he is never cut to the heart hearing the Word, so his sin is as the scarlet and heaped in his heart. Finally, he falls headlong and burst open in the middle and his entrails gush out. The sins gush out and other people know them but there is no more forgiveness but forever perdition.
- THE CLOTHING OR TUNIC OF MINISTRY.
Proverbs 25:13
25:13. Like the cold of snow in time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters.
The clothing of ministry that is white as snow means faithfulness and righteousnessas well as faithfulness and wisdomin the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the harvest or the revival of the building of Christ’s body (= the revival of white horse).
Revelation 19:11
19:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Faithfulness and righteousness as well as faithfulness and obedience in the ministry of building the body of Christ begin from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the oneness of international body of Christ that the house of Israel and the Gentiles can become one perfect body of Christ.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
The faithful righteous servant is in the anointing of Holy Spirit and he girds himself with the belt.
How can a servant of God keep on wearing the clothing that is as white as snow or being faithful and righteous in the anointing of Holy Spirit?
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
He must be in the Holy Place to persevere in the sheepfold. There are three kinds of equipment there which refer to three kinds of main service to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
We are always sanctified in the sheepfold continually, so we always live in the anointing of Holy Spirit with girding our waist with belt. In such condition, we become the servant of God who always satisfies Him or refreshes His soul as if we give Him food and drink.
Luke 17:7-8
17:7 "And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
17:8 "But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourselfand serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
We must sacrifice in order to have the clothing that is as white as snow or become the faithful righteous servant, but we will get these results.
- “You will eat and drink”, meaning we are satisfied by God with satisfaction of heaven, so we will never seek the pseudo-satisfaction of the world or fall in sins which are as scarlet.
Our food and drink are God’s concerning, so we do not need to be worried.
- “Gird yourself”, meaning our life, such as marriage, job, and study, is always made tidy by God.
Jeremiah 2:32
2:32 Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.
We are adorned by God, meaning we have beautiful successful joyful future life until we become the Bride of God.
Our life has not become beautiful yet before we minister to God.
Leaving the ministry, all tidy things or beautiful ones will perish.
For example, Esau is born with the firstborn right but he often leaves his tunic and goes to hunt.
Genesis 27:15
27:15 Then Rebekah took the choice clothes of her elder son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son.
Meaning unfaithfulness and unrighteousness in the ministry, even leaving it because of hunting something in the world and following the flesh voice. Consequently, one loses the firstborn right and his life is full of tears, even he loses all things and perishes forever.
Jacob does not have the firstborn right but he always dwells in the tent, referring to the sheepfold, as well as keeps his faithfulness, obedience, righteousness, his white clothing, and belt. As a result, he gets the firstborn right, referring to everything.
- THE CLOTHING OF GLORY WE WEAR UP TO THE THRONE OF GOD.
Daniel 7:9
7:9. "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;
Isaiah 55:10-11
55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snowfrom heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
55:11 So shall My wordbe that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
The snow refers to the Word which comes out of the mouth of God, the Word He has spoken, or the Word which is revealed through a verse that explains another verse. It is the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Revelation 1:16
1:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two–edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
The clothing as white as snow means the clothing of glory worked by the Word of God which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
The sanctification begins from our hard heart as follows.
- Wicked unclean heart and mind.
Mark 7:21-22
7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, (1)adulteries, (2)fornications, (3)murders,
7:22 "(4)thefts, (5)covetousness, (6)wickedness, (7)deceit, (8)lewdness, an (9)evil eye, (10)blasphemy, (11)pride, (12)foolishness.
James 1:21
1:21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
If our heart and mind are sanctified from the twelve wicked unclean lusts, our heart will become meek and filled with two rows of twelve loaves, six in a row. The “66” refers to sixty six books in the Bible. The true teaching Word implanted in our heart becomes faith that saves us.
- Weak heartthat easily stumbles, gets angry, and becomes stumbling block to other people.
1 Corinthians 8:7-9
8:7. However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8:8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
8:9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling blockto those who are weak.
Our heart must be sanctified until we can bear witness.
- Doubtful heart.
James 1:6-8
1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
1:7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
1:8 he is a double–minded man, unstable in all his ways.
The doubtful heart happens because of the wind of false teaching or strange voice.
Consequently, one receives nothing but total failure, nakedness, unstable ways, heavy burden, and weariness.
If the hard heart is sanctified by the hard true teaching Word, there will be
strong and of good courage personas follows.
- Keeping on holding fast to the true teaching Word whatever risk may come.
- Not being hopeless or disappointed facing all things but keeping on believing and hoping in God, not in others.
- Not sinning whatever risk may come.
- Keeping on worshiping God whatever thing we face.
The example of the strong and of good courage is as follows.
- Daniel.
Daniel 6:10, 19-22
6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions.
6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?"
6:21 Then Daniel said to the king, "O king, live forever!
6:22 "My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you."
Daniel keeps on being strong and of good courage. As a result, God shuts the mouths of the lions, meaning as follows.
- God is able to preserve our life in the midst of impossibilities.
- God helps us to solve our problems, even the impossible one.
- He is able to lift up our life and give us beautiful successful future life.
- Joshua
Deuteronomy 3:28
3:28 'But command Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you will see.'
He is strong and of good courage. As a result, he is employed by God in the revival of the building of the body of Christ.
- The Church of God.
1 Thessalonians 3:13
3:13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
Being strong and of good courage, we will be changed until we become as glorious as God. The sign is in our mouth that does not stumble in words but worships God. As a result, we are lifted up on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time to enter the kingdom of peace a thousand years up to New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
