Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 8:6-13 is about the first four trumpets.
It is the condemnation of the Son of God to the people who reject the trumpet or the word of God.
Revelation 8:6
8:6. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The seven angels have the seven trumpets. It means that each angel has a trumpet.
The trumpet refers to the true shepherding word God entrusts to a pastor to preach to the congregation faithfully and orderly in regularity. As a result, the word becomes command to the congregation, so they can enter into the sheepfold.
In Tabernacle, the sheepfold refers to the Holy Place. There are three tools in the Holy Place that refer to the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God as follows:
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
The results of being shepherded are as follows:
- Our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan cannot touch us. We experience the serenity or peace. All things become easy and light.
- "I shall not want" means miraculous and abundant caring, so we always give thanks to God.
Zechariah 13:7-9
13:7. "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.
13:8. And it shall come to pass in all the land," Says the LORD, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it:
13:9. I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people';And each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"
The fact is that the shepherd is stricken and the sheep will be scattered.
Matthew 26:31
26:31. Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
It prophesies about Jesus as the Good Shepherd who must die on the cross, so the disciples are scattered.
On the last days, it prophesies about the shocks in the sheepfold. It will happen physically and spiritually, namely sins up to the peak.
Satan wants that the sheep are scattered and destroyed forever, but God wants to separate between the people who are shaken and not or between the people who endure and do not.
The separations in the shepherding are as follows:
- Two-third will become scattered sheep or a branch that does not abide in the true vine. It means one who rejects the trumpet sound or the shepherding word.
Consequently, he is dry spiritually up to spiritual death, so he experiences the condemnation of trumpet up to perdition forever.
- One- third is not scattered. It is the same as a branch that abides in the true vine.
There are three things that cause spiritual death and dryness as follows:
- The hard heart that has the lust of the flesh, emotion, ambition, and no love.
Matthew 13:5-6,20-21
13:5. "Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.
13:6. "But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
13:20. "But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
13:21. "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
The seeds fall on stony places. It means receiving the word by hardening his heart as follows:
- Receiving the word with joy if it fits the lust of the flesh.
- Being angry if the word shows his sin, moreover if the word is repeated, because he keeps his sin.
Consequently, the seed of the word of God is not planted in the heart; it does not become faith in the heart or it has no root.
When the sun strikes him, he surely becomes dry, gets withered, and falls from faith or the true teaching word, until he is offended. He looks for the way which is not according to the word of God. It is the same as the deadlock and destruction.
James 1:21-23
1:21. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
1:22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
1:23. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
The right attitude is that we must have a meek heart, namely the one that has the love of God, so we can receive the true and hard teaching word.
The process is as follows:
- Hearing the true teaching word solemnly and with a need.
- Understanding the true teaching word.
- Believing in the true teaching word. The word is planted to become faith or root in the heart.
- Practicing the word, so it results in the fruits of light as follows:
Ephesians 5:8-10
5:8. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
5:9. (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
5:10. finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
- The one of righteousness. We must be righteous in our whole life according to the true teaching word.
- The one of goodness. We just do the good thing. We do not repay evil for evil, but repay good for evil.
- The one of truth. We are not on the side of others but God and the true teaching word.
The fruits of light are well pleasing before God, so we can feed and satisfy Him.
As a result, God will also feed and satisfy us, so we do not look for other satisfaction in the world.
- The branch that does not abide in the vine= not being shepherded.
John 15:6
15:6. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
One who does not want to be shepherded is described as two things as follows:
- A branch that is separate from the true vine. It means that he is not shepherded by Jesus or the true teaching word.
He is shepherded by the death or man with the false teachings but he confesses that he is shepherded.
Psalm 49:14
49:14. Like sheep they are laid in the grave; Death shall feed on them; The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.
Consequently, he experiences spiritual dryness. It starts from lying.
John 15:6
15:6. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
- A fig tree by the road. It means walking about or leaving the sheepfold to look for physical interests, namely money, position, et cetera.
1 Peter 5:8
5:8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
If we walk about, we will meet Satan who has two powers as follows:
- The roar of the lion of Satan to shake our faith, so we doubt the roar of the Lion of Judah or the true teaching word, and leave it. We fall from faith and experience the dryness and spiritual death.
- Devouring mouth = throwing us down into sins up to the peak.
A fig tree by the road also means that one is in the sheepfold but he does not eat the shepherding word. He criticizes, gets bored, and feels sleepy, et cetera, because he often hears the false and fleshly voices.
Matthew 26:23-25
26:23. He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:24. "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
26:25. Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."
The consequences are as follows:
- Judas Iscariot gets the money just to buy the grave. It refers to the atmosphere of spiritual death or curse.
- Judas Iscariot's entrails gushed out. It means that all hidden sins up to the peak will be opened, but there is no forgiveness.
- Being selfish.
Haggai 1:2-4,11
1:2. "Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: 'This people says, "The time has not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built."'"
1:3. Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
1:4. "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?"
1:11. "For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands."
The facts found in being selfish are as follows:
- Prioritizing physical interest more than spiritual one, so one does not want to minister to God in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
- Always delaying doing spiritual things.
John 1:48-51
1:48. Nathanael said to Him, "How do You know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
1:49. Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"
1:50. Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you, 'I saw you under the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these."
1:51. And He said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."
Haggai 1:11
1:11. "For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands."
If we are just satisfied by the physical things and not active in the building of the perfect body of Christ, sooner or later we will be spiritually withered and dead, so we fall and rise in sins up to the peak.
Haggai 1:14
1:14. So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
The attitudes to the building of the perfect body of Christ must be as follows:
- Having spirit or keeping faithful and fervent in ministry until the finish line.
- Being strong and of good courage, holding fast the true teaching word, and becoming obedient.
Haggai 2: 4
2:4. 'Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says the LORD; 'and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says the LORD, 'and work; for I am with you,' says the LORD of hosts.
We are not desperate and disappointed. We do not leave God in facing anything. We are not proud of anything, so we do not forget God. We always give thanks and worship God.
2 Chronicles 15:7
15:7. "But you,be strongand do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!"
Haggai 2:23
2:23. 'In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says the LORD, 'and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,' says the LORD of hosts."
The result is a signet ring, namely God's mercy that cannot be moved and charged against by anything.
Song of Solomon 8:5-6
8:5. A RELATIVE Who is this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? I awakened you under the apple tree. There your mother brought you forth; There she who bore you brought you forth.
8:6. THE SHULAMITE TO HER BELOVED Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame.
If we have the signet ring, our position is like a baby in the hug of God.
Isaiah 46:3-4
46:3. "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:
46:4. Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
The results are as follows:
- God is responsible for our life and death. God's merciful hands are able to take care of us who have no power in the midst of the wilderness of the world.
God's merciful hands determine the limit of our life in the world. He protects us, so we cannot be charged against by anyone.
- God's merciful hands which are as strong as the death are able to bear all of our weariness, heavy burdens, and labor, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light. All things are finished in due time.
- God's merciful hands which are as strong as the death are able to save and change our life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus. It starts from being honest and having the trust.
1 Timothy 1:12-15
1:12. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,
1:13. although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
1:15. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
We are changed until being as perfect as Jesus is when He comes a second time.
God blesses us.
