Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:16-173:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--The church of the Laodiceans or the one in the last days is lukewarm. It means that physically they are rich or do not need of anything, but spiritually, they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked or do not have anything. They are empty. They only prioritize physical things, but without being filled with the spiritual ones.
Consequently, they are vomited by God. They are useless, unclean, and separated from God forever to be destroyed.
Revelation 3:18-193:18 "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Therefore, God rebukes, advises, and chastens, so that the church of the Laodiceans or the one in the last days buy the heavenly treasure.
There are three kinds of the heavenly treasure we must buy as follows.
- Gold refined in the fire or the pure, permanent, and perfect faith.
- White garments to cover the nakedness.
- Eye salve that we may see.
We are still learning the second.
2 Corinthians 5:185:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, The white garments refer to the trust or ministry garments.
All men have sinned since Adam and Eve sinned. It means the nakedness. One is separated from God and cannot minister to Him. Therefore, the sinful naked people must be reconciled first by the sacrifice of Christ or the reconciliation offerings on the cross. They are covered and the sins are reconciled. Afterwards, they can get the trust to do the ministry of reconciliation or get the white garments. They are worthy to be consecrated as priests and kings.
Exodus 29:129:1 "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: Take one young bull and two rams without blemish, Aaron and his sons must bring these animals to be consecrated in the Old Testament.
- One young bull as the reconciliation offering.
- The first ram or the offering of self-surrendering.
- The second ram as the consecration offering.
We learn the first, namely the treatment towards the young bull as follows.
- Touching the head of the bull.
Exodus 29:1, 10
29:1 "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: Take one young bull and two rams without blemish,
29:10 " You shall also have the bull brought before the tabernacle of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull.
It means as follows.
- There must be the fellowship with the sacrifice of Christ. We appreciate it through making peace because of the encouragement of the Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword piercing the inmost part of our heart. We can be contrite in our heart, realize, regret, and confess our sins. After being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin. As a result, we have the peace and fellowship with God and others. We can minister to God and all things become easy and light.
Leviticus 4:1-3
4:1 Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
4:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the LORD in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them,
4:3 'if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering.
If a priest sins and keeps the sin, the congregation will bear it. Such priest has a debt of blood to the congregation.
The priest touches the head of the bull. It means that the mind of the priests must be sanctified, so they only think about how they can be set free from sin to live in righteousness and holiness. They think about how they do not have a debt of blood towards the congregation. It begins from unbelief up to the sin peak, namely sins concerning eating drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as the ones concerning marrying-being given in marriage or sexuality sin with all of its kinds.
Matthew 14:15-17
14:15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food."
14:16 But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."
14:17 And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."
John 6:7
6:7 Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little."
The sin of unbelief happens because of using the logic. Spiritually, a pastor does not believe that God is able to feed with the spiritual food, so he does not feed the congregation. Physically, he believes in the money more than in God. The mind must be sanctified so that we do not rely on money or anything from the world, but on "how many loaves do you have".
John 6:28-29
6:28Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"
6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."
The starting point of ministering to God is our believing in Him, so we will not sin.
If we believe and entrust ourselves fully to God, so there will be the glory of God. The physical and spiritual miracles happen like the five loaves and two fish for feeding five thousand men and there were twelve baskets remained.
- The concerning of the priests is about thinking and looking for the things which are above, where Jesus sits on the right hand of God as the High Priest more than all things in the world.
Colossians 3:1-2
3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
It means that we prioritize the service and ministry more than all things. We serve and minister to God faithfully and fervently in spirit because the activity in the world which is able to bring us to the heavenly throne is the service to God.
Thus, a priest must think about the holy life as well as the faithfulness and fervency in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
As a result, our food, drink, clothes, and future life are the concerning of Jesus, the High Priest. Then, we will see the miracle or the glory of God.
- The bull was killed to get much blood in front of three witnesses, namely the Lord (Father God), Moses (referring to Jesus, the Son of God), and the door of the Tabernacle of meeting (Holy Spirit God or Christ).
Exodus 29:11
29:11 "Then you shall kill the bull before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
The bull was killed before the Trinity of God. It means as follows.
- Reconciliation or the confession of sins is seen by the Trinity of God. Therefore, we must not be playful in confessing our sin. We must confess our sins honestly and completely by the encouragement of the Word. After being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin. We cannot be playful also when other people confess their sin to us. We must sincerely forgive them and not remember their sin. As a result, we can be trusted with the ministry of reconciliation or white garments. We are worthy to minister to God as the priests and kings.
- God highly appreciates a priest, so we cannot be playful as the priest. We must be earnest and responsible in serving and ministering to God until the end, namely we die or Jesus comes a second time.
- The treatment to the blood.
Exodus 29:11-12
29:11 "Then you shall kill the bull before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
29:12 "You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the altar.
- The blood was put on the horns of the altar.
The horn is made of the material of bone. It refers to the resurrection power.
2 Kings 13:21
13:21 So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bonesof Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
There is the power of resurrection in the blood of reconciliation or the blood of Jesus to save the sinful people.
1 Kings 1:50-52
1:50 Now Adonijah was afraid of Solomon; so he arose, and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.
1:51 And it was told Solomon, saying, "Indeed Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon; for look, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, 'Let King Solomon swear to me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.'"
1:52 Then Solomon said, "If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die."
Adonijah ran to hold the horns of the altar after he sinned against Solomon. One who holds the horns of the altar is a worthy man. It means that he dares to confess the sin regardless of the risk he has to take. If one dares to sin, but he does not confess it, he is a coward. Moreover, he is the same as Satan or the accuser if he blames others.
Adonijah got the power of resurrection from the horns of the altar and salvation, so not a hair fell on the earth. The hair remains on the head. It means that Jesus as the Head has died on the hill of skull, so He is able to preserve and protect us who are powerless, from now on in the difficulties of the world up to the days when the antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Jesus as the Head is responsible to save our life and make us precious; even someday He makes us perfect when He comes a second time.
- The rest of the blood had to be poured on the ground.
Exodus 29:12
29:12 "You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the altar.
It means that the Lord always remembers that we are only clay. We are powerless with our weaknesses. If we confess our sins seriously, God still forgives our sins until there is no remnant of the sins anymore. God sees as if we never do such sins. As a result, the clay is in God's hands. It is formed to be the vessel of God's glory or the priests and kings whom God uses to glorify His name. We live in the hand of God's great grace that is able to do all things in our life.
On the contrary, one will become the vessel of God's wrath if he makes Him grieved or ashamed. Consequently, he gets the condemnation of God.
Romans 9:22-23
9:22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
- The fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them (the inner parts) must be burnt on the altar.
Exodus 29:13
29:13 "And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.
It refers to the sanctification to our heart or inmost feelings.
The entrails --> digestive --> Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
The kidney--> water --> Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
The liver--> blood --> Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love.
If the heart or inmost feelings is sanctified, a priest will easily persevere in the shepherding pen, namely the three main services to God.
We are sent like a lamb among wolves. We need the shepherd. We are shepherded well and correctly, we will not be pounced by the beasts, namely the sins and false teachings. We will not stumble. We do not leave the service and ministry to God, but keep faithful and fervent in spirit until the end and we get the full right to enter the heavenly kingdom.
Leviticus 3:16
3:16 'and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; all the fat is the LORD's.
The fat or the best part of the reconciliation offering is God's. It must be burnt for God as the sweet smelling aroma.
The possession of God refers to the tithes and offerings. It will produce stench if it is not offered to God.
If we return the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings, God will be able to make all things good in time of need.
- The flesh, skin, and offal (the outer parts) were burnt outside the camp.
Exodus 29:14
29:14 "But the flesh of the bull, with its skin and its offal, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
Hebrews 13:10-13
13:10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.
13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
13:13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
Jesus is supposed as the despicable offal, so He must be crucified outside Jerusalem or the holy city to bear and sanctify our inner and outer sins.
We, the priests, must also bear the reproach of Christ. It means that we willingly suffer in the flesh or get the insult in order to stop sinning and throw away the despicable sin. A priest is despising the sacrifice of Christ when he sins and keeps the sin.
If we willingly bear the reproach of Christ, we will also bear His glory. He never deceives us.
Hebrews 13:15-17
13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
13:16 But do not forget to do goodand to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
We can glorify God through the good deeds to other people, obedience until our flesh does not speak, good righteous words, testimony, and worship to God. We can lift up our hands to God to cry out and surrender to him. He will also stretch out His mighty hands to lift us up in time of need.
Psalm 118:15-16
118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
The results are as follows.
- All problems are solved by God. He makes all things beautiful and successful in time of need.
- We are used by God in the building of the body of Christ.
- We are lifted up to the heavenly throne.
God blesses you.
