Peace and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:17-18
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
John fell at Jesus’ feet. It means he worshiped the Lord with a contrite heart until the flesh does not speak anymore. As a result, he could get the touching of God’s right hand and experience these three things.
- “Do not be afraid.” = renewal to the feelings until there is no more fear but confidence or boldness towards God.
- “I am the First and the Last.” = experiencing the increasing love of God from the first love to the perfect one.
- “I am He who was dead and am alive.” = experiencing the victory power over the death or getting the keys of heavenly kingdom.
ad. 3. “I am He who was dead and am alive.”Jesus has died and risen to defeat the death, so He holds the keys of Hades to close it for us, so that we do not perish, but defeat the death together with Him.
Matthew 16:18-19
16:18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19 "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
Afterwards, He gives the keys of heavenly kingdom to us who have prevailed against the death together with Him.
Acts 14:22
14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, "We must through many tribulationsenter the kingdom of God."The key of heavenly kingdom means experiencing the suffering in the flesh or the cross together with Jesus.
The facts found in it are as follows.
- The Court of Tabernacle.
1 Peter 4:1-2
4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
4:2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
The cross means as follows.
- The suffering in the flesh together with Jesus to stop sinning and return to God or repent. It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
We must suffer in the flesh to repent from eight sins that cause perdition in the sea of fire and brimstone. If we repent, we will be able to live in righteousness or get the atmosphere of heaven.
- The suffering in the flesh to obey the will of God.
1 Peter 4:2
4:2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us––baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Formerly, only eight people could enter the ark of Noah because they were obedient to the command of God and they were saved from the flood.
Now, we must repent from eight sins and get the true water baptism to receive the new life, namely righteous and obedient life that equals to salvation. It refers to the Brazen Laver.
We must suffer in the flesh to live in righteousness and obedience because there are many sons or servants of God who do not want to experience the cross in the last days until they are disobedient.
John 21:3,7
21:3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
Formerly, Peter was a fisherman. Then, he became a fisher of men. Nevertheless, he became a fisherman again because of his disobedience and rejection to the cross. Consequently, he got a total failure and was naked. It means being disgraced, falling and rising in sin up to the perdition.
Be careful! The spirit of disobedience reigns now to make the servants of God who have fleshy sight and mind support the false and disobey the Word of God. [John 21:3]. The consequence is the total failure, nakedness, and everlasting perdition.
John 21:6
21:6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
Facing the spirit of disobedience that reigns, the Lord always preaches the increased true teaching Word repetitively. Being obedient means lifting up our two hands to God. He will stretch His hands to us and perform miracles. The results are as follows.
- Peter caught 153 fish, 1+5+3 =9, or we live by the grace of God that is greater than all things and never-ending up to the eternal life.
- Peter wore his garments again. It means that we can return to live in righteousness and holiness to get the garments of the Bride, namely clean and bright fine linen. We are worthy to welcome Jesus’ second coming on the glorious clouds.
- The Holy Place. The cross is suffering in the flesh to minister to God.
2 Corinthians 6:4-10
6:4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,
6:5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
6:6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,
6:7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
6:8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
6:9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed;
6:10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
The fact found in it is patience. There are three kinds of patience as follows.
- The patience in suffering.
It means not being disappointed or hopeless nor leaving the ministry in facing the suffering, but giving thanks to God always and keeping faithful and fervent in spirit doing the service and ministry to God.
- The patience in waiting for the time of God.
John 7:6
7:6 Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
The time of God has not yet come. It means that He is still busy to correct our life when He has not helped us yet from the problems. Our time is always ready means as follows.
- We always have time to check our life through the sharpness of the sword of God’s word. When we find our sin, we must confess it to God and other people. After being forgiven, we must not repeat it. The sins are finished and we are worthy to come near God.
- We always have time to fully surrender to God until we do not hope in others.
As a result, the time of God to help us and solve our problems will come.
- The patience in waiting for the second coming of Jesus.
Romans 8:25
8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
It is through the perseverance in the sheepfold or the Holy Place in which there are three kinds of equipment that refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlstick or perseverance in doing General Service to have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. In this kind of service, the sheep is drinking.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to get fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and Christ’s sacrifice. The sheep is eating in this kind of service.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service to get fellowship with Father God in His love. The sheep is breathing in this kind of service.
If we are shepherded well and correctly, we will be as a branch that dwells in the true Vine. The results are as follows.
- We grow in quantity and quality. We can live in righteousness and holiness up to the perfection.
- We have the preservation of God until we bear sweet fruits and have heavenly joy.
- We are used by God in the revival for building the perfect body of Christ.
John 10:16
10:16 "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
It starts from the marriage, inside the shepherding, inter-shepherding fellowship, until we become one flock with one Shepherd or one perfect body of Christ with one Head. We become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming on the glorious clouds.
Do not go out of the shepherding like Judas, or else there is total failure and the entrails gushes out.
- The Most Holy Place. The cross is the suffering in the flesh without any sin, but because of the will of God or the sprinkling of blood.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
There are two times of the seven sprinklings of blood. The first is for Jesus, namely upon the mercy seat and the second is for us, namely in front of the Ark of the Covenant.
Acts 5:41
5:41 So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
Let us keep on giving thanks because we are counted worthy to suffer for Jesus. The sprinkling of blood can happen in many forms such as perseverance in doing three main services to God, fasting prayer, all night long prayer, being slandered and persecuted because of Jesus, and so on.
1 Peter 2:19
2:19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
The sprinkling of blood we experience is the great grace of God.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewedday by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
We must experience the sprinkling of blood, so that we experience the renewal from fleshy men to the spiritual ones that are as glorious as Jesus is. The renewal starts from being strong and of good courage as follows.
- Keeping on holding fast to the one true teaching Word regardless of any risk we have to take.
- Keeping on living in righteousness and holiness; not sinning regardless of any risk we have to take.
- Keeping faithful and fervent in spirit doing the service and ministry to God, regardless of any threat we have to face.
- Keeping on trusting and entrusting our life fully to God. We keep on worshiping God whatever thing we have to face.
The examples of the strong and of good courage are as follows.
- Abraham.
Genesis 22:5,11-14
22:5 And Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you."
22:11 But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" So he said, "Here I am."
22:12 And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
22:13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."
Abraham believed that He and his son will go down ("...I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.").
Abraham was strong and of good courage although he had to lose Isaac, his only son whom he loved and hoped as the precious thing for him.
Finally, Abraham got "Jehovah Jireh", namely the Lord provides the things that do not exist yet. The impossible can be made possible. Moreover, Solomon built the house of God on the place where Isaac was sacrificed. It means that we are used by God in the ministry for building the perfect body of Christ.
- A mother of the Gentiles.
Mark 7:25-29
7:25 For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.
7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syro–Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
7:27 But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs."
7:28 And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs."
7:29 Then He said to her, "For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."
She was strong and of good courage, so she could receive the true teaching Word that was hard and sharper than any two-edged sword. The Gentiles are sanctified from the characteristics of dog and swine or evil and unclean saying and deeds. She could worship God and hope in His mercy. As a result, there was a restoration in the marriage and children.
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
They did not worship the statue regardless of any risk they had to take, even they had to lose all things. They kept strong and of good courage and held fast to the true teaching Word.
Daniel 3:16-18,24-25,28,30
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17 "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18 "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
3:25 "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
3:28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!
3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–Nego in the province of Babylon.
They willingly lost all things. They had to be cast in a burning fiery furnace that was heated seven times more than the usual, but God was with them. He returned their position and gave them beautiful successful future life.
If now we willingly lose our beloved, we will be changed to be as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We can be lifted up on the glorious clouds together with the angels in the fire of glory. On the contrary, the people who are left will face the fire of persecution forever.
2 Thessalonians 1:5-7
1:5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;
1:6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
1:7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
God blesses you.
