Matthew 26:20-25 is about eating the Passover.
In Old Testament, eating the Passover was with unleavened bread and roast.
In New Testament, eating the Passover is consuming the true teaching Word and Holy Communion, especially in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
The true teaching Word and Holy Communion are able to sanctify us from all hidden sins in heart, namely wicked and unclean lust, so we are worthy of being consecrated as priests and kings.
Matthew 26:24-25
26:24 "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."
After being the priest of God, we have to be alert that we should not become as Judas Iscariot.
Jesus said that it would have been good for Judas Iscariot if he had not been born, although he was an apostle and treasurer whom the Lord trusted. It happened because he did not have life renewal but he kept on being flesh and blood man, so he became a thief, traitor, and liar.
The flesh and blood man cannot inherit the kingdom of God but perish forever as a broken mortar pot is destroyed forever.
How great a man in the word is, all things will become vain if there is no life renewal.
There are two attitudes to the life renewal as follows:

Actually Jesus has given three chances of life renewal to him as follows:- Through the sharpness of the true teaching Word, but Judas rejected it.
Matthew 26:21-22
26:21 Now as they were eating, He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me."
26:22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, "Lord, is it I?" - Through the Holy Communion, but Judas also rejected it.
Matthew 26:23
26:23 He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
There will be an enmity when there is a sin kept, although it is between two people who are very close. - Through judgment, but Judas also rejected it. Consequently, he had to perish forever.
Matthew 26:24-25
26:24 "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woeto that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."
The Lord is good that He warns the sinful through the Word, Holy Communion, and judgment. But if they cannot be warned, perdition will surely come.
- Through the sharpness of the true teaching Word, but Judas rejected it.
- Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, did not understand the life renewal.
John 3:1,3-4
3:1. There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
3:4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
Nicodemus did not understand because of prioritizing his logic.
The life renewal is a miraculous birth the logic of human cannot understand, but faith onlycan understand.
God only wants our faith tonight. We can experience the life renewal if we can believe the Word which is preached tonight.
Genesis 2:21-22
2:21. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
2:22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
In Old Testament, miraculous birth was about the birth of Eve from the ribs of Adam while he was sleeping. It prophesied the miraculous birth in New Testament.
John 19:33-34
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
In New Testament, the miraculous birth is the birth of the Church/God's Bride from the side of Jesus, the last Adam, which was pierced by a spear until blood and water came out when He died on the cross.
We are saved by the birth from Jesus' side until we can enter the eternal heavenly Kingdom.
There are three kinds of new birth/baptism as follows:- Blood baptism.
It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering in Tabernacle, meaning believing in Jesus and repenting, namely stopping sinning to return to God.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Repenting starts with throwing away eight sins causing the sons of God or the servants of God or priests and kings to sink and perish in hell as follows.- The cowardly, those who fear of sacrificing time, energy, money, thought, et cetera for God.
- The unbelieving, doubt.
- The abominable.
- The murderers, hatred, envy.
- The sexually immoral, meaning fornication, uncleanness in deeds, sight, thought, et cetera.
- The sorcerers, including astrology.
- The idolaters.
- The liars, the closing part of sin.
The other seven sins must remain if there is lie.
Judas did not want to be renewed, so he lied and had the closing of sins. Consequently, he perished forever.
The process of repenting is as follows:- We confess our sins to God and other people, and we do not repeat them after being forgiven.
- We forgive the sins of other people and forget them.
Afterward, all sins are settled.
The result of having the blood baptism is as follows:- We can see the heavenly kingdom.
John 3:3
3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
The fact found in seeing the heavenly kingdom is prioritizing heavenly matters more than the worldly ones, including prioritizing the service and ministry to the Lord. - We find peace and rest for our soul, so all things become easy and light.
- The cowardly, those who fear of sacrificing time, energy, money, thought, et cetera for God.
- Blood baptism.
- Water baptism.
In Tabernacle, it refers to the Brazen Laver.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The true water baptism is as eight people's entering into the ark of Noah. They were saved from the flood.
In Old Testament, there was only one ark could save.
In New Testament, there is only one true water baptism can save us.
Romans 6:2,4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water baptism happens when the people who have repented or died to sin are buriedtogether with Jesus in water to raise in new life. If all parts of the body have not been buried in water, one has not been baptized yet.
New life means heavenly life or good conscience we have so we can live in righteousness and goodness. It starts from righteous and good feelings, deeds, and saying, until the whole life is righteous and good.In addition, the marriage is righteous and good, seeing that there were four couples entering into the ark of Noah.
Psalm 37:25-26
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
If we are righteous and good, and have the good conscience, we will be blessed up to our descendants and we can become blessings for other people. There is no more ambience of curse but paradise. Little by little the flood was dried up, we do not have the ambience of curse anymore. - Holy Spirit baptism.
It refers to the Door of Tabernacle.
John 3:5
3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Holy Spirit renews us from carnal man or mortar pot to spiritual man or the man of God or golden pot.
1 Timothy 6:10-15
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
6:11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue (1) righteousness, (2) godliness,(3) faith, (4) love, (5) patience, (6) gentleness.
6:12 (7)Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
6:13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,
6:14 (8) that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing,
6:15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
The man of God is delivered from wicked lust and unclean lust Judas kept until he became a thief, traitor, and liar.
There are eight signs of the man of God as follows:- Righteousness, not having any partiality but we are in God's side only, in the side of the true teaching Word. We will surely be righteous if we have the sword of God's Word.
- Godliness.
- Faith.
- Love.
- Patience.
- Gentleness.
- Fighting the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. We can get the true faith by holding fast the true teaching Word and living in righteousness.
- Obeying the true teaching Word. It is the closing of new man. We only need to choose, whether we want the closing of sin (lies) or the closing of spiritual man (obedience).
Ecclesiastes 12:13
12:13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
Being obedient means loving God more than anything and stretching our hands to God. As a result, He stretches His hand of love to us. We are in the embrace of His hand as John who leaned on His bosom.
The result of being in His embrace is as follows:- His mighty hand of love is able to preserve our life in the midst of difficulties in the world, and to protect us from all disasters, antichrist, and the judgment of God.
Isaiah 49:14-16
49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
49:16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. - His mighty hand of love is able to deliver us from all slavery, and to remove all impossibilities.
Deuteronomy 7:7-8
7:7 "The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;
7:8 "but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Let the hand of God work and we only need to wait for His time. - His mighty hand of love is able to sanctify and renew us until we are blameless.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Mark 14:50-52
14:50 Then they all forsook Him and fled.
14:51 Now a certain young man followed Him, having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body. And the young men laid hold of him,
14:52 and he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.
Whatever condition we have tonight, let the Lord embrace us and wash to sanctify us until someday we are perfect and blameless as He is.
- His mighty hand of love is able to preserve our life in the midst of difficulties in the world, and to protect us from all disasters, antichrist, and the judgment of God.
- Righteousness, not having any partiality but we are in God's side only, in the side of the true teaching Word. We will surely be righteous if we have the sword of God's Word.
