From delayed Broadcast of Fellowship Service in Toraja IIIPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The theme is the royal priesthood.
1 Peter 2:92:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;A priest refers to one who serves and ministers to God or consecrates himself to God according to the ministry which has been entrusted by Him until the end line, namely the time of his death or Jesus' second coming, without stopping on the way.
The duties of a priest are as follows.
- Testifying or emitting the light to the dark world.
- Being used in the edifying of the spiritual house or the perfect body of Christ.
1 Peter 2:52:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.Jesus is the Head, the King, or the Heavenly Bridegroom and we are His body or bride.
Psalm 128:3a128:3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, ...Entering the edifying of the body of Christ is the same as working in the vineyard.
Matthew 20:1-720:1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morningto hire laborers for his vineyard.
20:2 "Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
20:3 "And he went out about the third hourand saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
20:4 "and said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went.
20:5 "Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.
20:6 "And about the eleventh hourhe went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, 'Why have you been standing here idle all day?'
20:7 "They said to him, 'Because no one hired us.' He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.'The Lord actively looks for the laborers for the vineyard. He gives the wide opportunity to men to work in His vineyard.
There are three kinds of laborer in the vineyard as follows.
- The laborers who work early in the morning based on the promise of God or the wage. They belong to the house of Israel or God's chosen people.
- The laborers who work at 9 a.m., 12 noon, and 3 p.m.
Mark 15:25, 33-34, 37
15:25 Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.
15:33 Now when the sixth hourhad come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
15:34 And at the ninth hourJesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"
15:37 And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.
The time 9 a.m., 12 noon, and 3 p.m. refer to the one of the crucifixion and death of Jesus. Such laborers work based on the cross or the love of God. Jesus has dead on the cross with four main wounds, namely two in hands and two in feet, as the love of God to save the lost Israelites.
Matthew 15:24
15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
- The laborers who work at 5 p.m.
John 19:31-34
19:31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
19:32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
The number five refers to the fifth wound of Jesus or the biggest and deepest one. It is the mercy or grace of God to save the Gentiles and lift them up as the priests and kings to work in the vineyard or be used in the edifying of the body of Christ.
The sign of blood refers to believing in Jesus and repenting or confessing sin to God and others. After being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin. We die to sin.
The sign of water refers to the water baptism.
Matthew 3:16
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water baptism happens when one who has died to sin or repented is buried in water with Jesus to be raised and receive the new life, namely the heavenly one or the life in righteousness.
Why does Jesus give us the wide opportunity to work in the vineyard? He does it to make us not idle. Being idle means the faith which is without work or the dead or empty one. Such faith cannot save us.
Matthew 20:120:1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.Working in the vineyard is the same as having the atmosphere of heaven up to entering the heavenly kingdom.
Revelation 4:1, 9-114:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."
4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worshipHim who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."The atmosphere of the heavenly kingdom is in
the service and ministry to God that peak on the worship to Him.
Revelation 22:3-422:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serveHim.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.Serving and ministering to as well as worshiping God are the same as looking at His face.
Revelation 1:14-161:14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyeslike a flame of fire;
1:15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
1:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouthwent a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. The process of looking at God's face is as follows.
- Looking at the mouth of God, out of which a sharp two-edged sword goes. The sharp two-edged sword refers to the teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
There are two kinds of the preaching of the Word of God as follows.
- The Gospel Word, milk, or Good News, that preaches Jesus' first coming to the world to die on the cross and save the sinners.
- The true teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword or Bride Tidings to sanctify us until we are as perfect as Jesus is and worthy to welcome His second coming.
Matthew 25:6
25:6 "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!'
Looking at the mouth of Jesus means that we experience the sanctification which is done by the sword of God's Word. It begins from the heart as the warehouse of sins to the mouth.
The heart is sanctified from the evil and unclean desires as well as bitterness.
The evil desire refers to the will of money. It causes the stinginess and greediness. The stinginess means that one cannot give to the work of God and others who are in need. Greediness means that one steals the possession of others and God, namely the tithes and offerings.
The unclean desire refers to the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
The bitterness refers to envy, hatred, and revenge.
Proverbs 4:23
4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
If the heart is sanctified to be gentle, it will springs out the living water.
Proverbs 4:24
4:24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.
The mouth is sanctified until we can be honest. We do not lie, but speak the good and righteous words to be blessings for others.
Proverbs 15:4
15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
We have the atmosphere of heaven and the guarantee for our present life, the beautiful future, up to the eternal one.
- Looking at the eyes of Jesuswhich as are like the flame of fire.
Revelation 1:14
1:14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
Revelation 4:5
4:5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
The flame of fire refers to Holy Spirit. It means that we experience the work of Holy Spirit to serve and minister to God faithfully and fervently in spirit.
Matthew 25:21
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the edifying of the perfect body of Christ. We experience the increasing joy of heaven up to the peak, namely we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb on the glorious clouds.
Romans 1:27
1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
Not being holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God, one will be burnt in his lust or fall in the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- Looking at Jesus' facewhich is like the sun shining in its strength.
Revelation 1:16
1:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
It is the same as worshiping God.
The results are as follows.
- The light of peace.
Numbers 6:26
6:26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." '
We do not feel anything that our flesh feels anymore. All things become easy and light.
- The light of the great grace or mercy of God.
Numbers 6:25
6:25 The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
The great merciful hands of God are able to preserve our life in the midst of difficulties in the world, heal all kinds of sickness, and resurrect the dead.
- The light of glory from the face of Jesus changes us from fleshly man to spiritual one like He is.
Exodus 6:8-11
6:8 'And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the LORD.' "
6:9 So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.
6:10 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6:11 "Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land."
Moses was disappointed and hopeless in facing the congregation or his ministry.
Numbers 20:6-12
20:6 So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
20:7 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
20:8 "Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals."
20:9 So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him.
20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?"
20:11 Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.
20:12 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."
He was proud. He relied on his experience and ability, so he resisted against the Word. The miracle indeed happened, but only towards the tomb, not Canaan.
Nevertheless, he could be changed through the worship prayer, so he could stand on the mountain in Canaan land.
We get the miracle physically and spiritually. Impossible things become possible until we are changed to be as perfect as Jesus is to welcome His second coming.
God blesses you.
