Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:5-66:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."The opening of the third seal is the same as the third judgment of Holy Spirit God to the world, namely the revival of the black horse, so the famine happens physically and spiritually, especially of the Word of God.
The consequences are as follows.
- The songs in the temple will be wailing if there is no revelation of the word.
Amos 8:11
8:11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD.
Joel 1:16
1:16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, Joy and gladness from the house of our God?
Amos 8:3
8:3 And the songs of the temple Shall be wailing in that day," Says the Lord GOD--"Many dead bodies everywhere, They shall be thrown out in silence."
If there is no food in the house of God, there will be no joy and gladness.
All things we do in the house of God which are not based on the true teaching Word will be the lamentation.
- Falling and never rising again means living in sins up to the peak.
Amos 8:12-14
8:12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find it.
8:13 "In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst.
8:14 Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan!' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives!' They shall fall and never rise again."
The men do not want to repent; even they cannot repent. How great a man, including the son of God, is, he will fall and never rise again if there is no Word of God. On the contrary, how unclean we are, we can be helped and justified by God as long as we willingly hear the Word.
Revelation 6:6
6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
The solution of the revival of the black horse is that we must have a denarius.
A denarius spiritually means
the life that has the image of the Trinity of God.
A denarius also means
the wage of working in the vineyard. We must serve and minister to God in the true teaching Word or the Bride Tidings. The bride cannot be separated from the wine.
Our service and ministry to God begin from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the one perfect body of Christ between the house of Israel and the Gentiles.
Thus, we must actively minister to God in the revival for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Matthew 20:1-7
20:1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morningto hire laborers for his vineyard.
20:2 "Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
20:3 "And he went out about the third hourand saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
20:4 "and said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went.
20:5 "Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.
20:6 "And about the eleventh hourhe went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, 'Why have you been standing here idle all day?'
20:7 "They said to him, 'Because no one hired us.' He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.'
The Lord Himself has made effort that all of us can work in the vineyard. He opens the opportunity as wide as possible so that we can work in the vineyard and get the wage, namely a denarius, to pass through the famine which will come.
One who does not want to work in the vineyard will experience the famine and perdition. It is because of his mistake. How great a man in the world is, all things he has will be meaningless and destroyed if there is no wage of a denarius.
There are three kinds of work in the vineyard as follows.
- Early in the morning. Such laborers got the promise. They refer to the natives of Israel.
- At 9 a.m., 12 noon, and 3 p.m. Such laborers worked by the cross. They refer to the lost Israelites.
Mark 15:25,33-37
15:25 Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.
15:33 Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"
15:35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard that, said, "Look, He is calling for Elijah!"
15:36 Then someone ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink, saying, "Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take Him down."
15:37 And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.
Matthew 15:24
15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Jesus has died on the cross with four main wounds to look for and save the lost Israelites and employ them in the vineyard.
- At 5 p.m. The laborers got the mercy of God. They refer to the Gentiles.
John 19:33-34
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and watercame out.
The figure five refers to the fifth wound of Jesus or the biggest and deepest one.
The requirements of the Gentiles' working in the vineyard are as follows.
- Having the sign of blood, namely believing in Jesus and repenting.
- Having the sign of water, namely the water baptism. It refers to the separation between the old life and the new one, whether a man willingly works in the vineyard for one hour or stays in Babylon for one hour.
Revelation 18:16
18:16 "and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!
Not using the opportunity to work in the vineyard for one hour, one will enter Babylon for one hour to experience the famine and everlasting perdition.
The servants of God whom He uses must have three things, namely the good characteristics, the right ordination according to the Word, and the potential from God.
There are three things which must be heeded for working in the vineyard as follows.
- The sanctification of the characters as follows.
- Egoism or self-interest.
Matthew 21:33-35
21:33 "Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country.
21:34 "Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit.
21:35 "And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another.
- Complaining or murmuring and disputing. It is the same as the heart which is dissatisfied.
Matthew 20:11
20:11 "And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner,
Philippians 2:14-15
2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
The consequence of murmuring and disputing is that one becomes the fallen star.
Let us become the bright shining star, namely always giving thanks to God in everything.
- Envy.
Matthew 20:15
20:15 'Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?'
It happens because of not appreciating the blessings and employment God has given as well as His mercy. The envy will cause one-sided strife and divisions.
1 Corinthians 3:3-4
3:3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
The wage of a denarius refers to the mercy and justice of God to us, the Gentiles, to face the days when the antichrist reigns over the world and Jesus comes a second time.
- We must yield sweet grape fruits.
The requirements are as follows.
- The branch must abide in the true Vine. It means being shepherdedto the true teaching Word.
John 15:1,3-4
15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
We must hold fast to and obey the true teaching Word. We must persevere in doing the three main services to God in the shepherding pen as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. The sheep is drinking.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. The sheep is eating.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love. The sheep is breathing.
- The branch must be cleansed or sanctified.
John 15:3
15:3 "You are already cleanbecause of the word which I have spoken to you.
We must be sanctified from the sins in the ordination as follows.
- The sins of Judas, namely unfaithfulness and evil or stinginess and greediness.
- The sins of Hophni and Phinehas, namely uncleanness or the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The sins of Cain, namely hatred, revenge, dislike feeling, and not being friendly.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
After being sanctified, we will be trusted with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit to take part in the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Although we are only like the small branches, we will bear sweet fruits sooner or later if we persevere and have obedience, faithfulness, and holiness. Father God will preserve our life in the midst of difficulties in the world up to the days when the antichrist reigns over the world.
Romans 10:15
10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"
Being sent by God, every step of our life is miraculous up to the last one in the perfection.
- Entering the winepress, namely the suffering in the flesh with Jesus, to produce the sweet wine.
Matthew 21:33
21:33 "Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country.
The sweet wine refers to the renewal of life from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus.
Song of Solomon 7:9
7:9 And the roof of your mouth like the best wine. THE SHULAMITE The wine goes down smoothly for my beloved, Moving gently the lips of sleepers.
The meanings of the sweet saying are as follows.
- Right and good words as well as the testimony.
- Worship prayer, surrendering, and crying out to Jesus.
The sweet saying will flow to Jesus who is sleeping.
Matthew 8:23-25
8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
We have the power of death and resurrection to help us in making the sea of the world calm. We fell peaceful, easy, and light.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are lifted up on the glorious clouds and enter the harbor of peace, namely the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses you.
