From delayed broadcast of Fellowship in Medan I (April 24, 2012 Morning)Revelation 19:9
19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God." The marriage supper of the Lamb of God is spiritual marriage or the perfect one.
Therefore, we have to keep the righteousness and holiness of our physical marriage from the beginning, during the marriage, up to the perfect marriage or the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The marriage supper of the Lamb of God is the meeting of Jesus who comes a second time in glory as the King of kings or heavenly Bridegroom with the perfect congregation or heavenly Bride on glorious clouds.
Afterwards, we enter the future paradise, the kingdom of peace a thousand years [Revelation 20] and New Jerusalem, the eternal heavenly kingdom [Revelation 21-22].
Why does God invite us to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb? - Because God wants to give us heavenly joy. It begins from now in the world which is cursed and full of tears up to the peak of joy on glorious clouds in the marriage supper of the Lamb of God until we have the eternal heavenly joy in New Jerusalem.
- Because if we do not enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God or if we are left in the world when Jesus comes a second time, we will perish together with the world.
The requirements of entering the marriage supper of the Lamb of God are as follows.
- We have to receive the invitation from God.
Matthew 25:6
25:6 "And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
The invitation from God is through Bride Tidings or the true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
There are two kinds of the preaching of God’s Word as follows.
- Good news = the Gospel that brings sinful people to come to Jesus to believe in Him and be saved.
- Bride Tidings = the true teaching Word that prepares us to become perfect as Jesus is, to become heavenly Bride.
- We have to become heavenly Bride who is as glorious as Jesus is.
Song of Solomon 2:14
2:14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely."
Heavenly Bridegroom calls His Bride with “dove.”
Thus,
heavenly Bride equals to the dove, meaning one who is always anointed by Holy Spirit, filled with Holy Spirit, and overflows in Holy Spirit.
The steps of being the Bride of God or the dove of God are as follows.
- We must have the heart of doveor the heart of Bride.
Matthew 3:15-16
3:15But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
The process is as follows.
- We believe and have faith in Jesus through hearing the Word of God in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Romans 10:17
10:17So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
A pastor or the servant of God must preach the Word relying on the anointing of Holy Spirit, not on intelligence or other things. The result will be as follows.
- The preaching of the Word is without limitation of intelligence, age, or place, et cetera.
- The Word which is preached can become faith to save the congregation.
Likewise, the congregation must hear the Word relying on Holy Spirit, so there is no limitation. They can understand and believe in the Word. The Word becomes faith in heart which can save us.
- We can repent, meaning we stop sinning to return to God.
- Being baptized of water.
Baptism of water is not a symbol but it determines our life destiny whether we have the heart of dove or other heart. It is as in the days of Noah that there were many arks but only the ark of Noah could give salvation.
The true water baptism is as the baptism of Jesus and we are baptized according to the will of God. It relates to Jesus’ going out of water and the heavens were opened.
Romans 6:2,4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
- The requirement of the true water baptism iswe repent and die to sin.
The true water baptism is donethrough being buried in water together with Jesus and then we go out of the water to get new life. The new life is life that can please God, namely righteous life. As a result, the heavens are opened and God pours His blessings. The door of heaven is opened for us.
If one rejects the true water baptism or has water baptism that is not according to the will of God, the heavens will also be opened but to pour judgments and perdition.
Water baptism is a serious matter!
- Baptism of Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit is as the dove descending upon Jesus. Now, Holy Spirit is as a dove giving us new heart, namely the heart of dove or the heart of Bride.
The heart of dove equals to peaceful heart or sincere heart.
1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
The practice of sincere heart is as a baby as follows.
- Laying aside all malice.
- No deceit.
- No hypocrisy. Hypocrisy refers to there is difference between the outside and the inside.
- No envy.
- No evil speaking, we do not blame the righteous and we do not justify the false.
The heart of dove only desires the pure and spiritual milk of mother’s breast, namely the true teaching Word, referring to pure milk, and the Word that is anointed by Holy Spirit, referring to the spiritual Word. The purest milk comes from mother’s breast, namely shepherding Word.
If we can consume the Shepherding Word and obey it, we will be in the hand of Great Shepherd, heavenly Bridegroom.
Isaiah 49:14-15
49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
Meaning God always remembers us, powerless babies. He always cares us. The baby in the embrace of the mother will be peaceful and full, meaning God preserves our life.
- We must have the wings of dove.
Psalm 55:7
55:7 So I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
Psalm 68:14
68:14 Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, You will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her feathers with yellow gold."
The wings of dove refer to spiritual silver and gold.
2 Timothy 2:20-25
2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
2:21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2:22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2:23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
2:25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
The spiritual silver and gold mean the servant of God who experiences sanctification done by Bride Tidings or the teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
From what do we have to be sanctified?
- From youthful lust.
It is especially about lust to make engagement. The purpose of having boyfriend or girlfriend is to get married, so it must be according to God’s call. If it is not according to God’s call, there will be youthful lust. The signs are unrighteousness, hiding something, and problems with parents or pastor, et cetera.
The youthful lust is also about evil and uncleanness lusts.
Evil lust is the lust of money causing greediness and stinginess. Stinginess means one cannot give and greediness means one seizes the possession of other people, including the possession of God, namely tithes and offerings.
Uncleanness lust causes sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, being drunk, and drugs abuse as well as sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage such as false marriage, free sex or sex deception.
If we are sanctified from the youthful lust, we will have righteousness, faith, love, peace, and pure heart [2 Timothy 2:22]. We will be employed by God.
- [2 Timothy 2:24] From quarrel or division because of self-truth.
It is better to make reconciliation when there is quarrel because of sins or faults.
It is better to return to Bible when there is quarrel because of teaching, do not gossip.
One who makes quarrel does not have wings, meaning he will not be employed by God.
If we are sanctified from quarrel, we will become gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility [2 Timothy 2:24-25]. We can be employed to bring sinful people to come to Jesus and be saved.
The servant of God who has the sanctification will be shown as gold and silver or having the wings of dove.
The practice of having the wings of dove is as follows.
- Silver, referring to righteous tongue saying "yes" if "yes" and "no" if "no."
Proverbs 10:20
10:20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.
- Gold, meaning obedience until our flesh does not sound, whatever risk may come.
Haggai 2:8-9
2:8 ‘and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.
2:9 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts.
The result is as follows.
- We are employed in the building of the glorious body of Christ. If the servants of God are as the silver and gold, the building of the house of God will become great and glorious.
Do not become as grass and wood, meaning we should not prioritize only the physical matters.
- We can endure facing all kinds of storm. We can keep faithful and fervent in spirit ministering God until the end line, until Jesus comes a second time.
Psalm 55:7-9
55:7 So I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
55:8 Indeed, I would wander far off, And remain in the wilderness. Selah
55:9 I would hasten my escape From the windy storm and tempest."
The one as grass and wood who does not experience the sanctification will leave the ministry when the storm comes. Such life will only be burnt forever.
The quantity of gold and silver is only small even other people may not see, but the time when temptation comes will determine.
- We become the possession of God none may charge against. God always remembers and cares us.
- We must havethe voice of dove.
Song of Solomon 2:14
2:14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely."
The voice of dove is the voice of worship of the Bride.
2 Samuel 22:31-32
22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
22:32 "For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?
The dove is in the cliff of the rock. The rock refers to the Bible or the pure teaching that cannot be changed. The cliff refers to the verses or the revelation of the Word of God.
The rock also refers to the sacrifice of Christ or the Mount of Golgotha.
Thus, the foundation of the true worship is the true teaching and the sacrifice of Christ.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
The voice of Bride is "Alleluia". It is the true worship.
The voice of dove consists of these two things.
- [Song of Solomon 2:14] Sweet voice = resurrection experience.
- Low voice that cries in pain = death experience.
Nahum 2:7
2:7 It is decreed: She shall be led away captive, She shall be brought up; And her maidservants shall lead her as with the voice of doves, Beating their breasts.
It is called new song, namely the song of struggling. Everyone has his own struggling which is different each other.
We have many struggling now, but the most important one is the struggling to become the Bride of God or the dove of God.
This morning, let us look upon Jesus’ face with crying. He remembers and cares us, even He is struggling together with us. He has struggled alone upon the cross with drinking bitter sourwine crying “It is finished.” He will finish all our struggling. His visage also has become so marred, not as human, on the cross, to help our life which has been destroyed. An apostle could become Satan, so we have to be serious and alert.
Zephaniah 3:16-18a
3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18 "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,
Jesus was willing to be bad in order to shine His mercy for us.
The function of the mercy of God coming out of His face on the cross is as follows.
- To make us not weary and hopeless but we can be strong and of good courage to hold fast the true teaching, true ministry, and true worship.
- To give us victory over all problems. God is able to help us as long as there is sun.
- To renew us from carnal man to spiritual one, beginning from our bright face.
The bright face is determined by the five senses.
If our ears hear and obey the true teaching, our face will be bright for sure. On the contrary, if one hears strange voice, his face will be sad.
If our mouth says righteous word without any lie but praise and worship to God, our face will be bright.
Mark 7:37
7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."
If our ears and mouth are good, Jesus on the cross is able to make all things good. Moreover, we will be perfect and as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We will shout “Alleluia” together with all people from all over the world and we will enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
God blesses you.
