Revelation 2:18-29 is about the Church in Thyatira.
Revelation 2:26-29
2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations––
2:27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ –– as I also have received from My Father;
2:28 "and I will give him the morning star.
2:29 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."‘
God’s promises to the church in Thyatira or all of us who overcome are as follows.
We are learning the second promise.
Revelation 22:16
22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
The Bright and Morning Star is Jesus as the Bridegroom of heaven. The shining morning star is our life who becomes the bride of God.
Where does the light of the morning star come from?
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
It comes from the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ that is the image of God or the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is the prophetic Word or the Word preached by the prophets. It is about Jesus’ second coming in the glory as the Heavenly Bridegroom to sanctify and renew us until we are as perfect and glorious as Jesus is. We become His bride. Such Word is called as Bride Tidings.
2 Peter 1:19
1:19 And so we have the prophetic wordconfirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;
Our attitude towards the prophetic Word is like heeding the lamp in the dark place. It means as follows.
2 Corinthians 4:6
4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
As a result, the light of the glory of Christ shines in the dark heart.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
There are seven evil and unclean desires in the heart of human. Rejecting Bride Tidings, the heart is ruled over by the seven dark things. Consequently, the whole life is in darkness, even it is perfect in the evil and uncleanness as the woman of Babylon or the bride of Satan that is ready to be destroyed.
Receiving the Bride Tidings, the seven dark things in the heart will be defeated, so our heart shines and emits the light of the glory through the deeds and words that glorify God. The light of glory will be brighter or increased until it becomes the light of the Bright and Morning Star. We are as perfect and glorious as Jesus is. We become His bride who is ready to welcome His second coming.
There three increase of the light of glory as follows.
God blesses us.
Revelation 2:18-29 is about the Church in Thyatira.
Revelation 2:26-29

We appear as the lamp in the house.- The husband becomes the lamp in the household. It means that he becomes the head over his wife and children.
The facts found in it are as follows.- The husband becomes the physical flow for the wife and children.
- The husband is responsible for the need of the daily life.
- The husband becomes the spiritual flow for the wife and children, namely the flow of righteousness and holiness, the service and ministry to God. The husband is firm in the shepherding so that the wife and children are also firm in the shepherding and they never fall. The husband takes all decision in the household according to the truth of the Word. The husband loves his wife as his own body and do not do bitterly toward her.
- The wife becomes the lamp in the household. She becomes the body and also the rib by protecting the weakness of the husband and children through worshiping God. She is obedient to her husband in everything. She also loves the children.
- The children become the lamp in the household as the limbs.
They lighten the burden of the parents and obey them.
Mark 4:21
4:21 Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basketor under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?
The basket or the food container refers to the darkness of economy and sins concerning eating-drinking, The bed refers to the sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage and wrong marriage. - The husband becomes the lamp in the household. It means that he becomes the head over his wife and children.
- The light of the star.
Daniel 12:3
12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the starsforever and ever.
The light of glory from inside the heart will be emitted outside to make us the shining star.
The star specially means a pastor. It generally means the priests and kings or the servants of God that can glorify Him according to the ministry. The star is the same as the wise who has the wisdom of heaven. The facts found in being wise are as follows.- Being obedient to the true teaching Word regardless of any risk we have to take.
Matthew 7:24-25
7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
7:25 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
As a result, we can endure the attack of the trinity of Satan as follows.- The heavy rain that refers to the power of evil and unclean spirit. If we endure, we can have righteous and holy life.
- The strong wind that refers to false prophet with the lie spirit, gossip, and false teaching. If we endure, we will hold fast the true teaching Word.
- The flood that refers to the antichrist with the power of mammon that makes the house fall. It causes stinginess and greediness. If we endure, we will like giving until we can say "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
- We know the limit in our friendship like a star staying in its orbit.
Let us put the limit of our friendship with the right and good words and deeds. - We become witness for others.
Daniel 12:3
12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the starsforever and ever.
- We become the shining stars forever. We do not fall. We keep on serving and ministering to God according to the ministry until the end, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time, even forever.
- There is a beautiful and successful future life, even the eternal one.
Proverbs 24:14
24:14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.
- Being obedient to the true teaching Word regardless of any risk we have to take.
- The light of the morning star.

Revelation 21:9-11
21:9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife."
21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
21:11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
The Bride of God is the same as the city of New Jerusalem or ones who are sanctified and renewed by the Bride Tidings from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus. The facts found in it are as follows.- Being like jasper stone. It means a burning desire or faithfulness and fervency in spirit to serve and minister to God by the encouragement of the anointing of Holy Spirit. Not being faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God, one will be fervent in evil and uncleanness.
Romans 1:27
1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. - Being clear like crystal. It means honesty. It begins from the matters about God, in confessing sin, and all things.
- He stretches out His hand that is full of faithfulness and mercy.
- For reconciling our sins so that we can live in righteousness.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sinsof the people.
2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
We have peace in the midst of the stormy seas of the world. All things become easy and light. - For helping us in His time and solving all problems, even the impossible ones.
- For reconciling our sins so that we can live in righteousness.
- The Lord stretches out His faithful hand and does His promise to preserve us in the midst of impossibilities.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
He gives us the beautiful and successful future life. His hand sanctifies us until we are as perfect and glorious as He is and we can welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds and become His bride.
- Being like jasper stone. It means a burning desire or faithfulness and fervency in spirit to serve and minister to God by the encouragement of the anointing of Holy Spirit. Not being faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God, one will be fervent in evil and uncleanness.
God blesses us.
