Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:9 19:9. Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."The marriage supper of the Lamb refers to the meeting between Jesus, who comes a second time in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom, and the perfect church or the heavenly bride on the glorious clouds to enter the Paradise and the New Jerusalem.
'
These are the true sayings of God' means that we must believe that the marriage supper of the Lamb of God will surely happen. It cannot be blocked and defeated by anything. We just wait for the time of God.
Matthew 22:14 22:14. "For many are called, but few are chosen."Many are invited, but few are able to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
In the age of Noah, there were only eight persons in the world who were saved from the flood.
In the age of Israelites there were only two of six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty men could enter Canaan.
That is why we must make effort earnestly, so we are chosen to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
The steps of being chosen to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God are as follows:
- We must be chosen to become the royal priesthood, namely the priests and kings.
1 Peter 2:9-10
2:9. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
2:10. who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- Being called by God. The sinners are called by God to be justified. The facts are believing in Jesus, repenting, and entering the water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism. We are saved and blessed by God.
- Being chosen to become the priests and kings.
Exodus 29:1
29:1. "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: Take one young bull and two rams without blemish,
It means being purified and equipped with the ministry and gift, so we can minister to God according to the ministry and gift that He gives to us.
Actually, only the tribe of Levi of the Israelites who is worthy to become the priests and kings. Genetically the Gentiles are unable to become the priests and kings. Because of God's mercy through His sacrifice on the cross, the Gentiles can become the priests and kings.
Mark 3:13-14
3:13. And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
3:14. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
Luke 6:12-13
6:12. Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
6:13. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
Our call and election cost Christ's sacrifice on the cross. It is God's mercy and will.
If we are called and elected because of God's mercy and will, our ministry will surely increase--'went out to the mountain'. We experience the increase of spirituality and ministry. We can face the challenge and obstacle by the prayer of Jesus, the High Priest, including the intercession prayer by a shepherd.
The all night-long prayer is important to establish the ministry, so we do not fall.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6
12:4. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
12:6. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
The priests and kings are equipped with the things as follows
- [verse 5] The ministries of the Son of God--Jesus.
Ephesians 4:8-12
4:8. Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."
4:9. (Now this, "He ascended" --what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
4:10. He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Jesus must descend into the lower parts of the earth to give the ministry to us. It means that He must die on the cross, so our ministry whose base is Christ's sacrifice can be very strong. We will never get disappointed and desperate as well as leave the ministry regardless of anything that happens.
- [verse 4] The gifts of Holy Spirit by Holy Spirit God--Christ.
The gift is the miraculous ability of Holy Spirit that is more than intelligence, riches, position, et cetera, so we can minister to God according to the ministry that He gives to us.
Why do we need the gift of Holy Spirit?
- We can minister to God successfully according to the ministry that God gives to us, because the gift of Holy Spirit works for us. Otherwise, we will surely fail.
- We do not reject the ministry that God gives to us.
- [verse 6] The diversities of activities or love by God the Father--the Lord.
Our motive power in the ministry is love, not money. The love is eternal, and so is our ministry.
So, the priests and kings are equipped by the Trinity of God.
Matthew 28:19-20
28:19. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
28:20. "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
All things will be in vain without God; even heaven means nothing without Him.
If God is for us, who can be against us? He fights for us to face all of challenges and obstacles. Do not be the servant of God who is without God! Do not depend on intelligence, riches,et cetera!
John 12:26
12:26. "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
We are accompanied by God up to the Bride's inclusion that cannot be separated.
That is why husband and wife must minister to God together, not alone.
- We must become the priest and king, namely the servant of God who ministers to Him faithfully.
Revelation 17:14
17:14. "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
Exodus 4:22-23
4:22. "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD: "Israel is My son, My firstborn.
4:23. "So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn." ' "
Being faithful means prioritizing God or the ministry more than anything.
If the servant of God does not minister faithfully, the firstborn will die. It means that all things which one is proud of and hopes will be lost.
Proverbs 20:6
20:6. Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man?
The servant of God who is faithful is very rare in the last days.
That is why we must make effort earnestly, so we can become the servant of God who is faithful and good.
Matthew 25:21
25:21. "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
As a result, we will be trusted with the bigger ministry. We increase in the ministry, so we experience the heavenly bliss even in the world which is cursed.
The faithfulness covers our weaknesses. If we are faithful in the small thing, we will increase until God trusts the big one.
Colossians 3:1
3:1. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
We experience the power of resurrection to justify us.
Romans 4:25
4:25. who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
We live in righteousness. We do not commit sin anymore. Our ministry is true according to the Bible, so we become the servant of God who is faithful and true.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
It is the same as ministering with girding our life with righteousness and faithfulness, and we experience the power of resurrection.
The results are as follows:
- We win over the Antichrist whose power is Mammon or money. We also win over the temptation or impossible problem and the death.
Revelation 17:14
17:14. "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
We win over Babylon or the false church that just prioritizes prosperity and entertainment but without purification, so the fornication increases in it. We keep living in holiness.
- We give meal and drink to Jesus, so we feed God or please His heart.
Luke 17:8
17:8. "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
God will satisfy us too. Our meal and future become God's business. Our business is becoming the servant of God who is faithful and true.
- We must have a wedding garment.
Matthew 22:11-12
22:11. "But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.
22:12. "So he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless.
Revelation 19:8
19:8. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
The wedding garment is the same as the fine linen, clean and bright.
'bright' means experiencing the purification by the sword of the Word, especially the one of the sinful deeds up to the peak, and the idle words.
The peak of sin refers to the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
The idle words mean lying, gossiping, slandering, and blaspheming.
'clean' means experiencing the heart purification by the sword of the Word from evil desire, unclean desire, and bitterness--hatred, revenge, and envy.
Evil desire is the will of money that makes one become greedy and stingy. We are purified until we feel more blessed to give than to receive.
Mark 12:41-42
12:41. Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much.
12:42. Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.
A widow is one who is separated from the husband or the head. The spiritual meaning is being separated from Jesus as the Head, so there are many problems. But she still came to the temple to hear the Word. It is the great gain because we experience the purification up to our heart, especially the one of the unclean desire, evil desire, and bitterness, so we can give for the working of God.
Mark 12:44
12:44. "for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."
We can give our time, power, mind, money, and our whole life to God.
Romans 12:1-2
12:1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies aliving sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
12:2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The requirements are as follows:
- The living body. It means being controlled by Holy Spirit through the perseverance in committing general service--the Golden Candlestick--, so we can live in righteousness.
- The holy body. It means being controlled by the Word through the perseverance in committing bible study service and Holy Communion--the Table of Showbread--, so we can live in holiness.
- The acceptable body. It means being controlled by the love through the perseverance in committing prayer service (the Golden Altar of Incense).
So, we can present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God in the sheepfold, namely the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service.
We must become the servant of God who becomes obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore like Jesus who becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross. We become a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Ephesians 5:1-2
5:1. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
5:2. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Exodus 29:22-25
29:22. "Also you shall take the fat of the ram, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and the fat on them, the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),
29:23. "one loaf of bread, one cake made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD;
29:24. "and you shall put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and you shall wave them as a wave offeringbefore the LORD.
29:25. "You shall receive them back from their hands and burn them on the altar as a burnt offering, as a sweet aromabefore the LORD. It is an offering made by fire to the LORD.
We become a wave offering. Our position is like a baby in the hand of God.
God's eyes always look at us. God remembers, cares, and struggles for us.
The results are as follows:
- God is able to protect and take care of us miraculously in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
Philippians 4:18-19
4:18. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
4:19. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- God's merciful hand is able to take away the curses of sin.
Genesis 8:21
8:21. And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
The weariness, heavy burdens, labor, and tears become peace, so all things become easy and light.
God's merciful hand is able to take away the impossibilities. He finishes the impossible problems in our life.
- The hands of God carry and move us. We are used in the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Revelation 19:8
19:8. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
It continues until we receive the clothes of the bride. We are purified and renewed up to perfection like Jesus, so we are worthy to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
