Matthew 26:12
26:12 26:12 "For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial.

Matthew 26 as a whole refers to golden pot that has manna or life who is renewed from carnal man to spiritual man as Jesus is.

Matthew 26:1-5 is the news about Passover.
Matthew 26:6-13 is the preparation of Passover, namely preparation for slaughtering Jesus, the Lamb of Passover, on the cross.

Exodus 12:3-6
12:3 "Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: 'On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.
12:4 'And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man's need you shall make your count for the lamb.
12:5 'Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.
12:6 'Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.

In Old Testament, the preparation was done by keeping the lamb of Passover for four days.

2 Peter 3:8
3:8. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

1 day = 1000 years.
The preparation for Jesus to become sacrifice takes time for four thousand years.
Christ's sacrifice has been a shadow in the form of animal offering for the four thousand years, namely two thousand years from the age of Adam to Abraham, and two thousand years from the age of Abraham to Jesus' first coming.

Seeing the human being, men was dead without the law of God in the age of Adam to Abraham because there was transgression to God's prohibition. Furthermore, the dead men were rotten because of transgression to God's law in the age of Abraham to Jesus' first coming.

In shorts, men have been dead and rotten in sins for four thousand years. Continuing in it, they will produce worms and perish in hell, as a total destroyed mortar pot.

Therefore, four thousand years right after Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus comes in the world to die on the cross as the Passover Lamb in order to do these two things:
  1. To redeem and to save men who have been dead and rotten in sins, so they will not perish. It equals to healing the broken mortar pot.
  2. To pour out Holy Spirit, so the mortar pot will not be broken anymore.
    John 16:7
16:7. "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Thus, our life HAS TO be filled or anointed with Holy Spirit.
Matthew 26:7-12
26:7 a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table.
26:8 But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste?
26:9 "For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor."
26:10 But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me.
26:11 "For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always.
26:12 "For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial.

The life filled with Holy Spirit is as a woman pouring out oil on Jesus' head/body for His burial.
Pouring oil refers to a ministry.
Jesus' head/body refers to Christ's sacrifice.
The burial refers to the last time.

Thus, the life filled with Holy Spirit is the life employed in the ministry of building Christ's body in the last time, the perfect Christ's body, or the Bride of God.

Romans 15:16
15:16that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit sanctifies the Gentiles so they can please God. If the Gentiles are not sanctified, they will be as common or unclean animals which cannot be offered to God.

What must be sanctified? It is especially the characters of the Gentiles which are as dogs and swine, namely repeating sins up to the peak.

Matthew 6:31-33
6:316:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The Gentiles must also be sanctified from anxiety about daily life, or future life, or else there will be disobedience and unrighteousness in life.

Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12
for the equipping of the saintsfor the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

Being sanctified, God will equip us with priest's office and the gifts of Holy Spirit for sure.We are employed in the ministry of building Christ's body.

Ministering with holiness in the priest's offices and the gifts of Holy Spirit, there will be God's handsin the midst of congregation.

The fact found in the ministry of building Christ's body is TRUE FELLOWSHIP.
This fellowship begins in marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding.

The true fellowship of Christ's body can be described as two things as follows:
  1. The fellowship between branch and another branch attaining to the True Vine.
  2. The chicks under the covering of their hen.
    Luke 13:34
13:34 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How oftenI wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!
The things we must heed in the true fellowship of Christ's body are the VINE and the PARENT. There is only one vine and one parent, namely the Lord Jesus, the true teaching Word.

The term 'how often' shows that the true fellowship of Christ's body is the longing and the will of Godto His Church, so He can give the covering of His wings.

'You we not willing' refers to rejection to enter into the true fellowship of Christ's body because of these reasons:
  1. The Church of God forgets that the condition is only as weak chick as follows:
    • Supposing that they are so able, rich, intelligent, powerful, et cetera,
    • Supposing that they are true,
    • Supposing that they are employed by God.

    Revelation 3:16-17

3:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--,

Penyakit 'merasa' ini keadaannya seperti jemaat Laodikia yang suam-suam. Tidak panas = not being hot, not being cold = there is no peace. Being lukewarm means there is no life renewal but keeping sins. Such life is as vomit, living in uncleanness and filthiness.

  2. The Church of God no longer needs the coverings of God as the main need but seeks the lusts of flesh until God is not prioritized anymore.
    The consequences are as follows:
    • Distress, fear, anxiety. There is no peace in life but spiritual death.
      Luke 21:25-26
      21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26 "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.

    • Living in the peak of wickedness and uncleanness as an empty house that is entered by seven evil spirits.
      Luke 13:35

13:35 "See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'"
Thus, we have to follows the longing and will of God, that we enter into the true fellowship.

Nevertheless, there are hindrances to enter into the true fellowship of the body of Christ as follows:
  1. Outer hindrance.
    Luke 13:31-32
13:31. On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, "Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You."
13:32 And He said to them, "Go, tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.'

Fox refers to spirit of wickedness, namely the lust of money. The facts found in the lust of money are stinginess (one cannot give to others), and greediness (one seizes the possession of others even of God).

Bird refers to the spirit of uncleanness as follows:
    • Sins, up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
    • All things hindering us when the Word is being preached, so we do neither understand the Word, nor believe it. Consequently, the Word does not grow in us.

  2. Inner hindrance.
    Luke 13:34
13:34 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

    Isaiah 2:3
2:3 Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Jerusalem refers to the servants of God who formerly received the true teaching but then they are hard-hearted by keeping sins of wickedness and uncleanness. Consequently, they stumble from the true teaching and go astray.
Whatever hindrances we are facing, we have to keep being in the true fellowship!

Being still in the true fellowship, we will have the covering of wings as follows:
  1. The covering of the wings of hen for the brood, meaning as follows:
    • The love and kindness of God are able to preserve us who are powerless in the midst of difficulties in the world.
    • The love and kindness of God are able to protect us from sins in the last days.
    • The love and kindness of God warms us in the middle of the cold world.

  2. The covering of dove's wings.
    Psalm 55:6-8
55:6 So I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
55:7 Indeed, I would wander far off, And remain in the wilderness. Selah
55:8 I would hasten my escape From the windy storm and tempest."

The covering of dove's wings will flee us when we face storm and wind in the sea of the world, so we have rest and peace. The love and goodness of God is able to finish all our problems, even the impossible ones.

  3. The covering of the wings of a great eagle.
    Revelation 12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

The wings of a great eagle are useful as follows:
    • To flee us to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the serpent or antichrist for 3.5 years.
    • To lift us up on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time so we can enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb, the kingdom of peace a thousand years, and into the throne of Heavenly Kingdom.

    Revelation 4:6,8
4:6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
    4:8
The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

The four living creature refers to Enoch, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus. This is life having the work of the wings up to the throne of God. Both the dead and the living at the time of Jesus second coming must experience the work of the six wings so they can be lifted up to the throne of New Jerusalem.
Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Drawing near Jesus' second coming, there will be many weak wings or falls into sins, weariness, bore, heavy burden, disappointment, and hopelessness, even people leaving the service and ministry to the Lord. Such people will be left as destroyed mortar vessels at the time of Jesus' second coming.

1 Kings 19:1-2,4-8
19:1. And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword.
19:2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time."
19:4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!"
19:5 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him,
"Arise and eat."
19:6 Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again.
19:7 And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said,
"Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you."
19:8 So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

Having the weak wings, we have to eat twice, referring to consuming the true teaching Word and Holy Communion. Moses and Elijah have already been hopeless. Let us have new strength to keep waiting for Jesus' second coming through consuming the true teaching Word and Holy Communion.

God blesses you.
