Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:3-18
12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
12:4. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devourher Child as soon as it was born.
12:5. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
12:6. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:8. but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
12:9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:10. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
12:11. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
12:12. "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
12:13. Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
12:15. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
12:16. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
12:17. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
12:18. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. This is the clear and complete appearance of Satan or dragon with his activities as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
- [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
ad. 2. Devouring.
The dragon wants to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
Who is the male Child? The deliverer.
There are three deliverers in the bible who are shown as male child as follows:
- Moses.
Exodus 2:2
2:2. So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.
Moses was a male child who delivered out the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan.
- Jesus.
Matthew 1:21
1:21. "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."
Jesus was a male Child who delivered the believers from the sins.
- [Revelation 12:4b-6] A male Child as the deliverer of the church of God or the heavenly bride on the last days.
Now we are learning about Moses.
Moses was a male child who delivered the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan.
The Israelites become the example for us on the last days.
The Israelites experienced the freedom from Egypt to Canaan, the Promised Land. The church of God also must experience the freedom from the spiritual Egypt to the spiritual Canaan, namely the New Jerusalem or kingdom of heaven forever.
The facts found in the church of God which experiences the freedom from the spiritual Egypt are as follows:
- Experiencing the freedom from the spiritual Egyptian idol.
Jeremiah 46:14-15
46:14. "Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; Proclaim in Noph and in Tahpanhes; Say, 'Stand fast and prepare yourselves, For the sword devours all around you.'
46:15. Why are your valiant men swept away? They did not stand Because the LORD drove them away.
The physical Egyptian idol is "Apis". It means ox.
Exodus 32:3-4
32:3. "So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.
32:4. And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, "This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!"
So, the Israelites made Egyptian idol in the form of a golden calf.
The spiritual golden calf survives up to the end of days, namely the hardness of heart.
Exodus 32:9
32:9. And the LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!
The facts found in the hardness of heart in everyday life are as follows:
- [Exodus 32:3-4] One cannot differentiate between the true God or teaching and the false ones even though his heart knows it.
Consequently, he does not minister to God according to the true teaching word or God's will. It is the false ordination.
He does not minister to God but gathers together to Aaron, namely a man or pastor who teaches the false teaching.
Exodus 32:1
32:1. Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, "Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him."
It also means that one comes to a shaman, money, position, and mate. He just ministers to God to seek for the physical thing especially the physical prosperity and entertainment.
This is the spiritual Egyptian idol, namely the hardness of heart.
- One does not want to repent although God has provided the medium as follows:
Romans 2:4-5
2:4. Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
2:5. But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
- His goodness, namely He willingly dies on the cross as the only innocent man to forgive all of our sins and set us free from the sins, so we can repent.
The goodness of God is that He gives us body, soul, and spirit, so we can repent; even we must repent.
Satan only has spirit, so he cannot repent.
The animal only has body and soul, so it does not need to repent.
The goodness of God is that He gives the true and hard teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to show the hidden sin in our life, so we can realize it and repent.
- His forbearance. It means that God forgives all sins no matter its kind and how long we have sinned except the ones of disbelief, so we can repent.
But, God cannot forgive the sin if one does not want to confess his sin.
- His longsuffering, namely He has not come for the second time yet and we still get the lengthening of our life.
If we do not want to repent but keep sinning although the word has shown our sins and rebukes us, we will treasure up for ourselves God's wrath. One day we will not be able to repent like Satan who will be destroyed by God.
1 Corinthians 10:5-11
10:5. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
10:6. Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.
10:7. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."
10:8. Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell;
10:9. nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;
10:10. nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
10:11. Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
For example, the Israelites did not want to repent up to being unable to repent from the sins, so they could not enter into the Promised Land but being destroyed in the wilderness.
So, the church of God must repent from four sins as follows:
- The idolatry of a golden calf. It means that one is bound by money or mammon, so he becomes greedy and stingy.
Being stingy means that one cannot give to others.
Being greedy means that one steals others' especially God's, namely the tithe and special offerings.
- The sin of uncleanness, namely sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
- Tempting God.
Numbers 21:4-6
21:4. Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way.
21:5. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread."
21:6. So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.
It is the same as loathing the manna or repeated true teaching word.
The manna is the true teaching word which is repeated until we experience the total tearing of the flesh up to perfection.
- Complaining against God, namely lie, gossip, evil speaking, blasphemy, instigating, et cetera.
Numbers 14:29
14:29. 'The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.
Because of these sins, the Israelites who were the stars before God became the beast or Satan who must be destroyed forever.
On the last days, if the star (the priest and king) keeps these sins, he will also become the beast like Satan. He cannot repent up to perdition.
[Romans 2:4] That is why the church of God on the last days must use God's great mercy to repent from the four sins by the encouragement of the true teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. We can realize our sin and confess it to God and others (the cross), so the blood of Jesus takes away our sin and forgives us. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We experience the freedom from sins.
We repent from the sin of idolatry, so we like to give. It starts from returning the possession of God, namely the tithe and special offerings.
We repent for the sins of uncleanness, so we live in holiness. We keep the righteousness, holiness, and unity of the marriage. There is no fornication and betrayal or unfaithfulness, starting from relationship and engagement.
Loathing manna becomes appreciating the true teaching word like a dog which licks the crumbs.
Complaining becomes glorifying God and testifying. We become the blessing for others.
1 Corinthians 5:7-8
5:7. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
If we repent or we are set free, especially from the four sins, we will be able to live in sincerity and truth. It is the border in our friendship.
The result is that we experience the feast atmosphere in the midst of the wilderness. It is the atmosphere of heaven that cannot be influenced by anything. We are happy even though in sorrow.
- Experiencing the freedom of the system of Egypt spiritually.
Deuteronomy 11:10
11:10. "For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden;
The system of Egypt or the world is the one of toil or the level ground.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- Looking for the necessities of daily life including the future by relying on the physical things, namely cleverness, power, experience, and so on. He does not rely on God, namely being unfaithful up to leaving or sacrificing the ministry to God.
- Legalizing all ways to get the necessities of daily life and future although it is not in line with the true teaching word. He becomes disobedient and sacrifices the true teaching word. It looks like it works, but it actually fails.
The example is the disciples.
John 21:3,7
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
Peter and his friends did not obey God. They left the ministry to seek for the necessities of daily life. Consequently, they were totally failed and naked.
Deuteronomy 11:11-12
11:11. "but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,
11:12. "a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
The system of Canaan or heaven is the one of hills and valleys or the cross. It is not comfortable for flesh. We just totally depend on the rain of God's great mercy.
The facts found in the system of heaven are as follows:
- The cleverness, power, experience, and so on are only the medium to seek for the necessities of daily life and future, but the most important thing is that we depend on God's great mercy.
- Obeying the true teaching word. All things must be in line with it, such as looking for living, future, marriage, ministry, et cetera.
Deuteronomy 11:13
11:13. ' And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
- Ministering to God faithfully, fervently, and responsibly until the finish line or God comes a second time.
Deuteronomy 11:13b
11:13b. and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
If we have had the system of heaven, God will give the rain of His great mercy that cannot be imitated and blocked by anyone.
The results are as follows:
- God protects and takes care of our physical life miraculously up to abundance. We can give thanks to God and become the blessing for others from now on until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Deuteronomy 11:14-15
11:14. 'then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.
11:15. 'And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.'
God also sends grass for our livestock. It refers to the blessings to minister to God. It starts from returning the possession of God, namely the tithe and special offerings. Further, we bring our whole life.
Not using the blessing for ministering to God is the same as eating grass. Our life is not good. We live like animal, namely without feeling up to perdition forever.
- God takes care of our spiritual life, namely the oil makes our faces beaming. Our faces are not gloomy, bad, and unclean like dog and swine.
Psalm 104:15
104:15. And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man's heart.
The wine gives us the heavenly bliss.
The teaching word makes us strong and of good courage. We do not fall and rise in the sin as well as leave God. We keep ministering to God until He comes a second time. We are strong in the wilderness.
- The freedom from the characteristics of the Egyptians. It refers to the freedom from the flesh with all of its lusts, desires, and characteristics.
Exodus 3:21-22
3:21. "And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.
3:22. "But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians."
Approaching the second coming of Jesus, the characteristic of the flesh that is increasingly clear is that one does not appreciate the spiritual things as follows:
- The clothing. It refers to the righteousness or salvation.
- The gold. It refers to the holiness in Holy Spirit.
- The silver. It refers to the redemption up to there is no lie, but being honest.
Proverbs 10:20
10:20. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.
Isaiah 28:15
28:15. Because you have said, "We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge, And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves."
We are set free from the characteristics of the Egyptians, so we have the ones of Jesus, namely righteousness, holiness, and honesty.
It is the same as becoming the house of prayer. We can trust and cry to God, so His hands of great mercy are stretched out for us.
The results are as follows:
- The physical miracle, namely God's merciful hands are able to finish all of impossible problems.
- The spiritual miracle, namely the renewal of life continuously up to perfection when Jesus comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We greet Him by saying: "Alleluia". We are happy with Him until we enter into Canaan or the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
