The word “TABERNACLE” is to be found both in the Old Testament
and in the New Testament called “MISHKAN” in Hebrew and “SKENE”
in Greek, it means “ a dwelling place”
Revelation 21:2-3
THE BRIDE OF CHRIST is the TABERNACLE of GOD, namely GOD’S
DWELLING PLACE AMONG MEN.
John 1:14
JESUS, the WORD made flesh, is also a TABERNACLE, dwelling among
us.
Hebrew 8:1-5
THE TRUE TABERNACLE is in HEAVEN and the High Priest is the Lord
Jesus Christ Himself who sits on the right hand of God.
Moses had to erect the Tabernacle in accordance with the real Tabernacle
in heaven which God revealed to him on Mount Sinai.
CONCLUSION
The Tabernacle is the image pattern of HEAVEN, GOD’S DWELLING
PLACE; thus, the spiritual meaning of the Tabernacle is the KINGDOM OF
HEAVEN. |
