Exodus
26: 36-37
Exodus 36: 37-38
The Door of the Tabernacle was a curtain of:
- blue
- purple
- scarlet
- fine twined linen
It was supported by 5 pillars of shittim/acasia wood with their hooks,
capitals/tops, and fillets-all overlaid with gold. Standing upon 5 sockets
of brass.
The Door of the Tabernacle is the entrance into the Holy Place. THE
SPIRITUAL MEANING
The spiritual connotation of the Door of the Tabernacle is baptism
with the Holy Spirit.
The Door of the Tabernacle = the partition between the Court and the
Holy Place.
Being outside the Door = saved; yet occupying the domain of the Law where
the flesh supremely reigns.
Flesh means:
- The natural man with his weakness and selfish desires.
- A man who has not been born again.
Being inside the Door = having been baptized by the Holy Spirit and no
longer staying where the flesh reigns, but living in the realm of the
Holy Spirit that leads us to be One with Christ through His Word, so that
we can grow, shine, bear fruit, and ultimately worship God.
The 5 pillars of shittim/acasia wood overlaid with gold refer to the
five senses which give access to the desires of the flesh that have been
covered/wrapped by the divine nature of the Holy Spirit. |
